Atlas !
atlas just grinned at her words, cheekily replying. “i’m glad, also a bit surprised you thought you wouldn’t like me. that’d be a first.” most people loved them but then again, adoration wasn’t the same as genuine love. “i like you too, a lot more than anyone else.” the words were truthful, bare. it wasn’t something atlas did often, simple words often times came hard to them. pressing another kiss to her head, they kept one arm wrapped around her small frame. “i’m sure our food is ready and we wouldn’t want your brownie getting cold, would we?” hopefully the mention of her sweet treat that was tempting enough to be the catalyst for all of this would be enough for her to want to return to the dining room with them. “or would like you to power your face, princess?”
“ not that i wouldn’t like you i just- ” trailing off instead of actually finishing her sentence as her eyes rolled. “ you know what never mind. i’m sure it would be a first because who could resist such a cute face. ” as they pressed another kiss to her forehead her legs started swinging and she couldn’t help but to smile again. ears perking up at the reminder of her sweet treat. “ oh yeah ! i have a brownie. ” she’d almost completely forgotten about the fact that she’d cried off half her makeup until they mentioned it. glancing at herself in the mirror, she tried to hide the wince that was clear on her face. “ oh honey, we’ve got work to do. ” she’d said the words to her own reflection, using her hands to dry any stray wet spots. “ i want to powder my face. ”
