it's really an incredibly disingenuous thing. "Jews deserve sovereignty on their ancestral land" okay, how is that sovereignty achieved? By the exclusion of the natives, because without the systemic disenfranchisement of the current natives, Israel would be an arab nation with a large jewish minority population. And this is unacceptable, so sovereignty in this case means "an ethnostate for jews". And so the existence of "sovereign, jewish" Israel necessarily implies the expulsion, disenfranchisement, or wholesale murder of the non-jewish inhabitant. All of this is incredibly simple and self explanatory if you think about it for about 30 seconds but liberal zionists will still act like it's possible to separate the concept of a "sovereign jewish state" from the destruction of the lives of people already living in that land.
