A letter from theoretical physicist Richard P. Feynman to his wife Arline, dated April 1945. He was working around the clock on the Manhattan Project at this point, but sacrificed sleep to write her letters at night. Arline would die from tuberculosis a few months later.

A friend of mine just landed a job as a puppeteer on the national tour of War Horse that starts this summer. Here’s a video from TED about how the horse puppets were created and function. As you may or may not know, I didn’t like the movie War Horse, but the spectacle stuff of the stage production is pretty darn cool. Take a gander!
