biography

it  was  as  if  the  sun  seemed  to  welcome  the  second  born  son  to  king  and  queen.  born  on  a  hot  day  with  the  beaming  heat,  you  came  in  screaming  as  if  to  let  the  world  know  to  not  forget  who  you  are.  leo  was  a  healthy  and  hardy  baby  who  fussed  easily  when  things  did  not  go  your  way.  the  invisible  label  of  spare  heir  seemed  thrusted  upon  you  and  as  a  child  you  did  not  care  much  about  but  as  you  got  older,  you  sought  to  give  yourself  a  new  one.

for  as  he  aged,  you  were  told  to  do  things  a  certain  way.  the  scholars  eager  to  shape  you  into  possible  one  day  being  part  of  your  brother's  court  when  he  becomes  king  or  his  guard's  commander.  but  you  have  other  plans.  you  enjoyed  your  classes  particularly  history  and  shared  a  love  for  poetry.  you  became  a  formidable  fighter.  some  say  you  became  a  lion  on  a  hunt  on  the  training  grounds  preferring  to  use  your  hands  more  than  a  weapon.

occasionally  your  mouth  seems  to  get  the  better  of  you.  speaking  before  thinking  and  letting  everyone  know  your  opinion,  good  and  bad.  you  are  not  afraid  to  use  you  charm  that  was  like  a  gift  almost  to  enchant  others  or  help  with  dealings  if  it  meant  helping  out  your  family  in  some  way.  you  grew  accustomed  to  a  lifestyle  that  you  would  do  anything  to  keep  it  from  slipping  through  your  fingers.  whether  its  supporting  your  brother  who  is  next  in  line  or  listening  to  your  father  and  grumbling  doing  what  he  asks  for  you  to  do.

leo  is  known  for  his  cavalier  almost  arrogant  personality  that  has  foster  since  he  was  a  child.  he  is a prince  and  member of the royal family, expecting  many  things  to  go  his  way  but  hidden  deep  down  under  the  ego  laid  an  unyielding  kind  nature  only  some  see.  he  is  boastful  with  friends  and  with  his  lovers  he  can  be  charming until  morning  comes  and  he  is  gone without a word, leaving a string of broken hearts.  this  is  contrast  to  his  fierceness  with  which  he  defends  his  home  and  his  family  or  when  out  in  the  training  grounds.  though with this same attitude he had definitely had his fair share of fights with many.

biography

rickard  laicestre  is  youngest  but  the  tallest  of  the  black  keep  children.  he  has  a  sort  of  strained  his  relationship  with  his  father  but  a  loving  one  with  his  mother.  he  came  into  their  lives  later  and  almost  as  a  surprise.  perhaps  this  is  why  rickard  looked  to  his  older  siblings  for  guidance  especially  as  a  young  child  where  he  was  always  observing  and  copying  them  until  he  got  older.

rickard  was  and  still  is  an  adventurer  at  heart,  a  wild  wolf  some  might  say.  the  scholars would  try  their  best  to  teach  him,  often  having  to  scold  him  because  of  his  tendency  to  wander  off,  always  eager  to  explore  with  his wolf  frostbite  at  his  side.  having  had  the  pup  since  he  was  a  young  boy,  his  wolf  is  alot  like  him,  loyal,  intelligent,  and  always  by  his  side  so  if  you  don't  spot  the  wolf  he  is  somewhere  in  the  shadows  lingering.  the  one  subject  he  never  slacked  off  in  was  with  his  training,  always  wanting  to  be  a  great  fighter  like  his  sibling  and  the  rest  of  the people from geimreadh.  he  is  exceptional  with  swords  and  hand-to-hand  combat  (he  is  quick  and  isn't  afraid  to  get  rough  and  dirty  to  win)  but  his  forte  lies  in  archery  more  than  anything  (they  say  no  matter  the  terrain  or  chaos  around  him,  he  would  always  hit  his  mark).  loves  to  go  hunting  and  being  in  the  wilderness  of  the  cold  winter.

rickard is  known  for  his  talkative  and  headstrong  nature  and  is  highly  sought  after  by  many  looking  to  wed  him,  mainly  for  what  his  status stands  for  and  for  how  highly  respected  House  Laicestre  is.  he  has  yet  to  take  a  partner  and  definitely  takes  advantage  of  getting  to  know  people.  but  should  he  ever  find  someone,  just  know  this  person  would  have  his  unyielding  devotion  to  them.  he  may  not  look  like  he  is  a  talker  with  his  tall  structure  and  deadpan  face  but,  especially  when  he  has  some  ale  in  him,  once  he  begins  talking  he  doesn't  know  when  to  be  quiet.  his  mouth  has  more  than  once  gotten  him  in  trouble.  always  quick  to  act  regardless  of  the  consequences.  just  as  he  gets  in  trouble,  he  always  find  a  way  to  get  out  of  things,  whether  its  using  his  smarts  or  by  luck.

born  on  a  cold  and  dreadful  night,  Min-seo's  birth  was  a  difficult  one  but  luckily  mother  and  child  survived.  From  a  young  age,  even  to  adulthood  the  attention  was  never  on  him.  He  wasn't  the  oldest,  he  wasn't  the  spare,  and  he  wasn't  the  youngest.  He  just  existed  in  the  family.  He  never  caused  trouble,  was  a  quiet  boy  who  stuck  to  himself  until  he  found  the  one  thing  he  thrived  in.

Training  was  his  thing.  He  always  observed  the  warriors,  quietly  learning  and  practicing  at  night  until  he  one  day  mustered  up  the  courage  to  ask  the  best  warrior  for  guidance.  He  was  a  tough  man  who  lived  his  entire  life  as  a  fighter  for  merkwoth  keep  and  Min-Seo  wanted  to  follow  in  his  footsteps.  The  warrior  was  highly  skilled  and  regarded  for  his  talent  and  who  was  known  for  training  others  that  when  he  could,  he  started  teaching  the  young  lord.

Min-seo  was  a  natural,  a  prodigy  in  everyone's  eyes  and  it  seemed  that  was  enough  to  finally  garnered  a  sliver  of  attention  from  his  parents.  Let  his  siblings  deal  with  running  the  household,  the  politics,  but  he,  he  would  be  their  warrior.  it  was  through  his  training  and  the  many  fights  that  he  found  a  home  in  the  training  grounds.  He  pledged  himself  to  be  a  great  warrior  for  their  house  and  promised  to  do  whatever  he  could  as  he  felt  indebted  to  them.

the  rest  of  his  childhood  and  into  his  adulthood,  Min-Seo  trained  in  archery  and  sword  fighting  day  in  &  night  out,  like  his  life  depended  on  it.  in  his  mind:  it  did  as  a  small  thought  always  echoed  "your  skill,  your  talent,  is  the  only  reason  you  are  loved,  if  you  lose  that  then  you  are  no  one."  he  was  the  middle  child  of  the  family,  happy  to  not  have  to  worry  about  ruling  one  day  like  his  oldest  sibling  or  being  the  baby  but  the  sereen  like  his  younger  sibling  but  he  knows  it  will  be  only  a  matter  of  time  before  talks  of  betrothals  and  marriages  start  making  their  ways  to  him,  not  that  he  has  an  eye  on  someone.

wc:  currently  min-seo  has  sworn  his  sword  to  someone  in  the  umbrian  isles.  promising  to  protect  their  life  with  his  and  be  that  trustworthy  right  hand  of  theirs.

he  is  too  smart  for  his  own  good  and  knows  it.  he  is  in  all  around  good  but  takes  his  training  very  seriously  and  always  looking  to  train  with  others.  loves  to  prove  others  wrong  about  him  (been  in  many  fights  against  people  who  didn't  believe  in  his  talents).  he  is  really  the  poster  guy  of  ‘looks  like  can  kill  you  if  provoked  but  is  an  actual  cinnamon  roll'.  also  has  a  love  for  have  a  good  drink  and  its  one  of  his  favorite  past  times  along  with  his  secret  love  of  reading.  many  think  he  is  this  brood  and  mysterious  lord  but  he  is  far  from  that.  very  loyal  to  his  house,  house  styx,  and  the  regions  deity  :  ITHYOR  (high  believer  of  the  deity  considering  his  younger  sibling  is  a  sereen  for  them).
