There was a boy that laid possibly too-high up, lounging on one of the shelves. He knew this realm - the realm of the Pig. The Game, he recalled it being called. He wasn't allowed in it, especially after he had destroyed the majority of the basement during his first trial here. It wasn't someplace meant for a massive beast.
A beast that he wasn't, now. Despite the fact that the Entity returned his original form as a whole, he still have off a dangerous feeling. Even though he was only slightly taller than Feng Min, and seemed far too frail to do any harm to anyone, there was still something wrong about him. Perhaps it was the growls and hisses he would idly make, or how the scent of rotting flesh would radiate off of him. Whatever it was, though, there was no denying that this child had to be dangerous in some way.
Slipping off the back of the shelf, he carefully climbed down it. As far as he knew, he was alone. This meant that he could possiblu explore the area. Even if he wasn't alone, he was more than certain that whatever - whoever - was in here with him would end up losing him if there was a chase.
Amanda was a fast and silent woman- something she learned to be when she took the title of The Pig, all those years ago, when she was still in the real world.
Not many people noticed her presence, as she was often only around for moments before she headed out, unless she wished to talk, which was the case here.
“You know, if you fall... I doubt the Entity will be too keen on fixing any broken bones. Just saying, maybe you shouldn’t be up there.” She didn’t wear her mask today, as she wasn’t scheduled for any trials, so she was relaxing, red shirt and brown cargo pants. It felt good to not have to worry about killing anyone for the day. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail, showcasing the nasty scar on her neck, and the ones on her cheeks... well, those were visible all the time.
Mingan’s head whipped over to the voice, and he tensed up with an odd, distorted growl. He stared at her, before relaxing.
“I think I should be fine.” He started to climb the rest of the way down, feet hitting the ground quietly. “I mean, I don’t think it’s too happy with me most of the time anyways.” His tone hid a bit of bitterness as he reached up to mess with his hair.
He had kept his hair down, occasionally cleaning up the shaved side with bits of broken glass, or blades he could find. Overall, he was rather scrappy, thin, with scars across his cheeks and neck. However, he held himself with an odd sort of pride, almost seeming to stalk towards her. This was something strange, even dangerous, about this boy.
“... I’ve never seen you without your mask..” He tilted his head, eyes narrowing. “I think you should keep it off more. You’re pretty.” Lips twitching down in a frown, he cocked his head to the side. “I don’t mean that to sound strange, I..” Huffing, he held out one hand. “Mingan. Or..” He cringed. “Adoff. I’d prefer if you call me Mingan.”

So is your wendigo based off of like, the Until Dawn look? You say the media version so I'm gonna guess no deer head
Tl;dr - Traditional look is more similar to the Until Dawn look! My wendigo has the deer head, since I enjoy the aesthetic of it.
-
Nope! Until Dawn's wendigo is more akin to the more traditional look of the spirit. While I take that as a "younger" form of Mingan, once he's at his prime and in the true form of the Wendigo, he possess the head similar to a deer's skull (however, the nasal ridge he has leans more towards cattle skull). However, the traditional look is being used more and more in popular media since more media is listening to various Algonquian stories to create a more faithful image.
The Until Dawn wendigo possess the frail frame and the lipless face of more traditional wendigos, but lacks the size and the lack of toes. I took the frail frame, the lack of lips and toes, and the occasional description of antlers off the traditional Wendigo for Mingan, but due to it being the more widely known design for the spirit, I gave him the animal head, ears, tail, and hunched back!
That's part of the reason for the deer theming in certain things, and the contrast between his name having been Mingan (Grey Wolf) and the fact that he ended up becoming a deer-headed savage. Not to mention that, well.. In his backstory (which I should release soon!) the Entity may have messed with him a bit.
I will post more sketches of Mingan if you guys would like.
That being said! Don't hesitate from drawing him similar to the Until Dawn wendigo if you wanna draw him! I won't get upset!

-does the Jojo walk out of the darkness towards you- “I heard you wanted to meet me. Well, here I am.” (@the-ghost-face)
@the-ghost-face
“I mean.. Yeah, I did.”
“So what’s your story, Wendigo? And yes, I know your name.”
“You act like that is supposed to surprise me. I know you, too, Ghost Face.” He tilted his head. “I was brought here by the Entity, and it starved me until I had next to no humanity. That is my story, in short.” He huffed.
“So you’re feral? Like Ana? Cool. But try to take a bite out of me and I’ll fillet you.” Ghostface drew his knife. “You seem nice enough; it’d be a shame to have to hurt you.”
Taking a slow step forward, the Wendigo leaned in close to the other killer. “It would be amusing to watch you try.” The tone he had was an almost teasing coo, and he tilted his head the other way.
Ghostface met the Wendigo’s eyes. “Tell me something,” he said calmly. “What’s your favorite scary movie?”
“I never watched any. I suppose having an insatiable hunger for human flesh distracts one from… Luxuries..” He began to slowly circle him, pressing in closer so that they were practically nose to nose.
The killer frowned. “Dude. Two words: breath mints. Also, if you’re so hungry for flesh, just go hang out with Bubba. He literally makes people into chili.”
Snapping his jaws next to the killer’s neck, he uttered a strange, distorted laugh. “Ghost..” He sounded disappointed. “I am always hungry for flesh.. Makes my life difficult, truthfully...”
"Hello? Is anyone their?"
“Huh..?” The boy looked around, a startled look on his face. “.. Who..?” He sounded confused, scared, and it was obvious he couldn’t be much older than seventeen. “Who are you..?”
“I’m Bella, who are you? And are you okay?” The older woman asked.
( @winters-hunter )
The teen stared at her with wide eyes, head tilting. “I’m..” He bit his lip. “I’m Mingan… And.. I think it’s.. I’m.. Not really okay?” He shrugged.
“Are you hungry or thirsty?” Bella continued to ask questions.
( @winters-hunter )
Seeming taken aback by the questions, he blinked quickly. “I- Yeah? Sorta?” He bit down on his lip. “I’m almost… Always hungry…”
“Do you want a snack?” Bella asks pulling out some beef jerky “I know it’s not much, but I tried.”
( @winters-hunter )
He paused, then nodded a bit. “.. Alright.” Slowly, he reached out his hand to take the jerky, but hesitated for a moment.
“Is something wrong?” Bella seemed worried that something was wrong.
( @winters-hunter )
“Guess I’m not used to kindness,” he murmured, slowly taking the jerky. Taking a bite from it, he glanced around. “I’m more used to.. People fearing me.”
“Well, I like being nice to people. And what make them fear you?” Bella smiles at him.
( @winters-hunter )
It seemed to take him a bit to decide on the answer as he savored the bit of jerky he had. “… Many reasons,” he finally replied. “Including my hunger.”
“You can tell me any of your reasons, I’m not easy to scare away.” Bella hums handing him another piece of jerky.
( @winters-hunter )
Just as with the last one, he savored this piece of jerky. “I was.. Am? A killer.” His lips twitched down in a frown. “… I’m not sure what I’m considered right now.”
“Whatever you are, you’re a friend to me. Even if you don’t consider me one.” Bella states noticing his frown.
( @winters-hunter )
“I don’t know what to consider you.” He glanced at her for a moment, then looked away. Shaking his head, he looked at his hands for a moment. “I mean, usually, I suppose I would consider you prey,” he half-joked, before his shoulders slumped.

Mingan was cold. It was bitterly cold, and he had been dropped in the middle of Ormond. The bonfire nearby calmed his shivers as he faded in and out of sleep, snores coming out in weak growls. The way he laid was akin to that of a dog, twisted oddly to lay his head on his arm. Blood and dirt stained the dress shirt he wore, especially around the small tears throughout the shirt.
There was an oddly dangerous air to the boy, even as he slept. Something wasn't right about him, there was something unnatural. This boy was definitely not a survivor, and yet, he didn't look like a killer - he couldn't be a killer.
Julie and Joey, unsure of who he was, and what he was doing here, circled him.
They were some distance away, ears perked, tails hanging just inches above the snow to avoid the crunching of ice. Their footfalls were nearly silent, and they preferred it that way.
Thoughts were communicated through soft guttural noises, and clicks and chirps. The pair shared a look, before finally deciding on a plan of action.
Confronting this stranger was better than just sitting and doing nothing.
Still a few feet out of arm's length, Joey approached.
"Hey, uh, I don't think you're supposed to be here."
He awoke fully with a growl, the noise summoned from somewhere in the back of his throat. Scrambling up, he rocked onto his toes. Fear and anger shown in his expression, but the former overpowered the other. It was as though he was a cornered animal, ready to fight to get out of the situation.
A feral snarl started in the back of his throat as a reply, before he fully processed the words. Watching the two killers, he slowly recognized them - slowly. It took him too long to process it, and despite recognizing the masks, he couldn't place the names.
".. If I was put here, then I am meant to be here," he finally replies, voice hoarse.
Julie returned the growl, eyes narrowing. Her frame was tense, ready to spring in front of Joey should she need to.
But Joey Taylor, ever the peacekeeper, lifted a hand, between them both.
"Woah, easy, we're all cool here, nothing's goin' on. We're just.. Having a talk, alright, folks?"
He knew that standing between one force of nature, and what he assumed was another, wasn't the best choice. But it was better than having them at each others' throats.
"Did the spider bitch drop you here." Julie grumbled.
"Jules, c'mon," The other Legionnaire scolded. "I'm sorry to pry, but we kinda need to know why you're here. Like, what you plan on doing in Ormond."
Julie’s growl clearly put him on edge as he started to pace in a small circle. He watched Julie past Joey, only looking at him when he spoke. What was he planning on doing?
“Right now? I was planning on trying to stay warm,” he half-snapped, but the hostility didn’t seem to fully be meant. “After all, that is a difficult feat without fur..” he mumbled the second part, finally looking away from them.
Looking at his hands for a moment, he huffed slightly. Slowly, he looked back towards them, head tilting. “Also, to answer her question?” He slightly nodded to Julie. “I am pretty sure it dropped me here. She has been the cause of misfortune towards me recently.”
"Hello? Is anyone their?"
“Huh..?” The boy looked around, a startled look on his face. “.. Who..?” He sounded confused, scared, and it was obvious he couldn’t be much older than seventeen. “Who are you..?”
