The Custodians (Custodes Iuminaris)

An species of avian like beings, secretive ,ancient and honorable

the origin of their kind is unknown, but there is record of them, even before the ancient civilizations, they are a rare sight

the few things we know about their culture seems to center in martial prowess not leaving space for anything more, they dont seem to value art, or politics outside of combat, besides that they also seem to focus on safeguarding, they guard sacred places, relics, or even whole planets,following orders from an uknown force, they will attack any who dares enter their domain without permission

there is reports of custodians apearing in large numbers during moments of great destruction and death caused by extraplanar entities , though when the problem is dealt with they seem to disapear as fast as they apeared, if their reason is benelovent or otherwise is not known

there doesnt seem to be any sexual dimorphism , or even the presence of sexual organs , and a juvenile custodian has never been seen, what may make some assume they might be mechanical in nature

but they are not

they appear to have , hiiden mouths behind their "masks , and posses eyes in both sides of the neck area , as well as showing nostrils behind their head

it seems that every individual custodian possesses an unique markings and different shapes in their "masks"

custodians are incredibly dangerous , showing great combat skill, incredible strenght, speed and a null response to pain
