         Give what the girl was trying to do, Gale didn’t think there was much reason to be afraid. There must’ve been some sort of precedent for this if she’d been sent from the Pokémon Center to help. Gale hadn’t ever seen anything like that before—even a seriously injured Pokémon could be called back into its Poké Ball—but they’d surely find out what was up once they got there.

         The girl cracked a small smile, though her voice when she spoke was more desperate than confident. No need for that—Gale wasn’t against helping people out as long as they were respectful and it didn’t inconvenience her, and she really had nothing better to do. 

                --- a genuine smile breaks on the nurse’s face, she was extraordinarily pleased with the fact she’d found someone who’d help her out, even if it was with something she wasn’t really sure she still wanted to do. she had someone to force her to keep going.

                “ thank you, thank you, thank you ! i can’t thank you enough, really miss! “ she says as she follows the other woman, whom she has now identified as gale, along. “ ah! i’m misuzu! and i do sort of work for the pokémon centre, but not for castelia’s. i’m from nimbasa city’s pokémon centre, i’m just helping out today. “

she was still worried about this battle. if the centre had been called up, it meant one of two things. a, whatever was going on was illegal, and being seen in the centre could lead to an arrest, or b, the trainer was injured as well in a battle gone wrong. misuzu was a liar if she said either of those things sounded very good to her. either way, they were just too possible situations she could encounter.

         Whenever large sums of money were involved, trouble was sure to follow. The old backlot in North Castelia was often the site of some competitive tournaments between the local trainers, and it wasn’t uncommon for them to escalate in intensity when the stakes were high and people had bets riding on the winner. While Gale’s guess about the number of ‘incidents’ going on in the city still rang true, the girl’s elaboration definitely helped: if there was one place in the area most likely to have a violent battle going on, it was the lot.

         The girl’s next statement made Gale reconsider her first impression. She was acting on behalf of the Pokémon Center? Another look at the Blissey and things started to make a little more sense. So she was a nurse, or something. Probably older than she seemed, then.

         The idea made Gale a little wary. The nurses at the Center in Castelia were always friendly and didn’t ask too many questions, but she didn’t much like the idea of leading one directly to a place that was meant to be somewhat secret. Still, someone must have called in and asked for help, and Gale knew she’d want her own Pokémon to be treated as soon as possible.

misuzu can’t help but think it might be safer for her to simply go back to the pokémon centre and simply say that the call was nothing more than a prank, but it really left a horrid taste in her mouth. her small fingers curled around her sweaters ends tighter, nails digging into the material. she truly can’t help but think it, as she forces a smile and makes her decision as to what she will be doing about this.

         She was on her way there, hands stuffed into her pockets and not paying much attention to her surroundings, when a girl with long hair and pigtails stopped directly in front of her and started talking. The abrupt arrival had Gale slightly confused. Did she look like some kind of tour guide?

         Glancing around at the other people populating the street, though, it was obvious that they were much busier than she must’ve looked, slowly making her way back home. Still, it had to be a weird day in the city when she was the most inviting person around to approach. That, or this girl was really in need of some help.

        "An incident?“ That was pretty vague, especially in a city as big as Castelia. There were probably lots of ‘incidents’ going on at any given moment. Gale stared down at the girl, taking note of the Blissey at her side that was almost the same height as its trainer. Not a Pokémon very common outside of Pokémon Centers; it wasn’t really Gale’s style, either—too pink and soft-looking. "You know, most people try not to go looking for trouble.” Which was rich, coming from someone who had always taken pleasure in getting involved in things she shouldn’t. Still, young-looking girls that seemed so obviously lost in the bustling city streets probably ought to be making better choices than she had. 

she really, really hoped this wasn’t a hoax. this really wasn’t the sort of thing to joke about, and it just took time out of her life where she could be helping the poor, busy nurses at the centre instead. besides, the city was so stupidly huge she’d already spent far too much time running around it.

the nurse begins to tug on the ends of her large sweater, something she’d forced atop her uniform due to the weather, and let her eyes wander from the person who she was talking to, to her blissey.
