2018 was very long but i also feel like it’s flown by rather quickly. a lot has happened this year in general, and to me as a person: i made the decision to go back to school next year. i published my first book this year (june 8th!) and everyone was so supportive and i made a twitter account this year too (which mostly consists of positivity, retweeted funny writer things tm, and baby animals). 

i did a lot of researching, writing and world building, specifically on this blog (but also on others). and i didn’t do it alone! i did it with a ton of you! i met new people and i made new friends and already existing friendships grew and i know that this site can be an absolute dumpster fire but the reason why i haven’t left yet is because of you all. 

whether we’ve written together on my blog for magenta (shiftpower), mohini (doublebcss), padma (padmatical), taranee (firefavoring), harriet (pirateheir), julie (lightsped), this one or any of my other past blogs (nosestealer / yourelettingusgo / borntobeabeater / firstborndvino etc), i’d just like to say thank you so very much.

thank you. thank you for allowing me to learn and to grow, both as a writer and as a person.

i’m posting this list today because i’m gonna be at my aunt’s all day tomorrow. i wish you all a very happy, prosperous, wonderful, kickass new year, full of love and laughter and inspiration. i’m cheering and rooting for all of you!

despite the fact that my activity will be lower next year due to school and other commitments, i still hope that i can continue to write with all of you!

@xonismsx ; greggy, the loml - WOW i can’t believe that we’re getting married so i can be a real canadian, we love that sm. i hope that you have all the wonderful things ( like more yogurt and tea ) in 2019 bc you deserve all of it. thanks for wanting to hold my hand from day 1 bc now you’re entirely stuck with me and our pokechildren forever. you’re always around and asking me how my day is, and it’s so nice tbh and i love that, and you <3 you make me nicer by association and if that’s not true love then i don’t know what is??? i love our movie nights, and i’m vv happy that we could do a college thread together bc we needed to get our boys out there and into the world learning together. you’re the bestest around and thanks introducing me to so many movies ( even a few fails ) but i don’t mind bc i like our time together anyway. and you don’t get a vine reference bc our entire life together is a big vine reference, also i think that’s true love - or at least in my opinion is it. thanks for putting up with me hubby, ilysm <3

@verumaxpha hi grandpa ( i’m sixteen, i’m a grandmother ) - i just wanted to thank u for coming into my life, and bringing this little family closer together. i couldn’t really imagine what my life would be like without you guys anymore, and god’s children are all coming together. even if we’re all oddly dating one another, it’s fine. ily and i hope your new year is great <3

@omniaxsolus hullo mama dearest - i know that johnny and liam don’t have much history but let me tell you about coach. he might love johnny as much as i love you ( and that’s a lot tbh ). our timezones are vv off, but we literally talk all the time ??? not that it’s a bad thing at all - it’s just still crazy to me tbh. also i haven’t told you this yet but coach got johnny a christmas present, wanna know what it is? christmas lights ;) what ya gonna do about that??? ilyyyy <3
