The great Marvel legend Stan Lee, who recently passed away, had something very interesting to say: “I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic-book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize entertainment is one of the most important things in people’s lives. Without it, they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you’re able to entertain people, you’re doing a good thing.” He initially felt insecure about the kind of “value” he was offering the world, until he realized that entertainment--giving people good feelings--is one of the greatest forms of VALUE you can offer to anyone. Everything people work for—money, cars, sex, etc.—they pursue these things because of what they think these items will get them: GOOD FEELINGS. That's what people are ultimately pursuing here: Positive Emotions. The same principle applies to attraction and relationships. Regardless of how good-looking a guy is, how rich he may be, or how much status he's garnered, If he can’t give a woman good feelings, he won’t be able to sustain or grow any interaction or relationship with her.
