Are you seriously a lesbian and asexual?
Hey anon, I think I'll turn off the anonymous messages on Tumblr just to see if you're still confident about it because you clearly want me to take me down <3
Either way I wasn't planning on saying anything else because as I said my response would be the last response, but something happened after Pinacae's response(on TikTok) that I think is worth mentioning.
Almost immediately afterward, I started receiving anonymous messages(you anon btw).
Now, can I prove every single anonymous message came from Pinacae's supporters?
I'm not going to claim something I can't prove.
But I also don't think it's unreasonable to find the timing suspicious.
Nothing happened for a while.
Then a response gets posted.
Then suddenly anonymous messages start showing up repeating almost the exact same talking points.
Draw your own conclusions.
You anon called me a hypocrite because I used to dislike Ben x Jeff and now I repost content about it.
I used to have a really toxic mindset where I thought, "If you ship something I don't like, then I don't like you either."
Looking back, that was immature.
I don't think like that anymore.
I realized that not enjoying a ship isn't the same thing as disliking the people who enjoy it.
That's called growing as a person.
Changing your opinion over time isn't hypocrisy.
It's maturity and realize what you're doing is wrong.
You anon claimed Andrew is just my self-insert because apparently he "acts like me."
That's... not what a self-insert is.
Andrew is my Creepypasta OC.
My persona is an entirely separate character.
Do some of my characters have few traits I relate to?
Almost every writer does that.
If sharing a few personality traits with an OC automatically made them a self-insert, then half the characters in fiction would suddenly become self-inserts.
That's just how writing works.
So, no Andrew isn't a self insert, it's a creepypasta oc and I stick to it
Then you same anon asked me if I'm "seriously" a lesbian and asexual.
I'm sorry, what does that have to do with literally anything?
We're talking about Creepypasta.
How did we end up discussing my sexual orientation?
No, that has absolutely nothing to do with whether my AU exists or whether someone likes my writing.
It's completely unrelated.
At this point, it feels like the situation has moved further and further away from my actual AU.
Instead of talking about my story, people are talking about my past opinions, my identity, my personality, and making assumptions about my characters.
If that's what the situation has become, then I don't really see a reason to continue participating in it.
I've already explained my AU.
I've already clarified my characters.
I've already said what I wanted to say.
So this really is where I'm ending it.
I'm genuinely tired of arguing.
I'd rather spend my time creating something new than spending another week responding to anonymous messages.
So after this, I'm moving on.
I hope everyone else does too.
