Birthday.

I've lost track of things here. There are no seasons, really, and time separates itself differently here. The vacationing hoards fluctuate. Well, not during the recent hurricane. I poke fun at him, having his passions run as high as the storms when he has reason to. Seems like there's always a reason these days. He's asleep now beside me. Even in his sleep his face betrays his passions. I don't know what to do. Maybe I'm getting old. Maybe I've lost one too many pints of blood. I'm losing the feeling for once in my life. I'm not tied to visions of blood and violence. I'm tied to grease and sun and a man. A man I wished out of blood and violence. I guess birth is bloody and violent. Why shouldn't rebirth be?
