A soft knock on the door awoke me from my slumber. As I opened my eyes Steph walked in a carrying a tray of food.

“ Good morning puddin’. How you feeling?” She asked as she placed the food down.

“Good thank you!” I yawned. Sitting up to give her a sweet kiss. I patted the spot next to me.

As I ate, Steph went over the days events. Beth and invited us over for brunch and a catch up.

“ After that we can go shopping or just …” As Steph rambled on I pulled her in to shut her up.

“We can do whatever you want love.”

Two hours later we were ready. Calvin bounded in the park as I spoke to Viv. Steph and Beth and run off somewhere probably to film a TikTok or greet some pups. As Viv explained her thought on the upcoming season my gaze met my girlfriends. She walked over and slung an arm around my waist as she kissed my cheek.

“ Sorry Viv I lost your girl.”

Viv sighed and excused herself to go find her lover. Once left alone Steph whispered “ Hi love. I missed you.” “ What do you say we head home?”

At home Steph and and I cuddled on the couch when my phone pinged. Beth had tagged us in a photo. Steph was looking lovingly at me as I laughed at the camera. Her arms draped across me. I reposted it with the caption Lovely girl.
