Does Wildwing relax against the warmth at his side almost immediately? Yes.

Is there a strong wing pulling the other closer? Affirmative.

Is he gonna move from this position any time soon? Not a chance.

He let out a hum at the touch and smiles up at the bigger duck.

“Thank you. I love you so much..”

The cold mask is quite literally cast off so he could place a kiss to the  crown of the sweet duck’s head.

There’s an immediate hug from smol duck husband.

That’s all he needs.

A large hand is rubbing gentle circles into Fenton’s back almost the very moment he makes contact. 

“Oh… uh….thank you.”

“I would love that! Comparing our two different planets tech by means of a friendly race! Should we have a little wager on top of it? Loser buys the other lunch?”

Wildwing chuckled and slid his mask into place “Works for me. Last one to the Pond and back takes the winner to lunch.”

“I suppose….I could use a good distraction for the moment…at least…if you don’t mind, Sir Wildwing….I wouldn’t want to be a burden.”

“Heh, just Wildwing is good. And for the record I don’t think hanging out with you would ever feel like a burden.”

“Hm? Oh! heheheh….y-yeah. It’s not exactly a good use of my identity but it is nice to take a step away from your life every once in awhile…”

“Well, I totally get it. I don’t exactly wear Drake’s mask in my off time because it’s a good look for me. Sometimes you just need to... disassociate a bit.”

A few breathless coughs and a quiet groan ease out of the lifeless lump of a duck that had just gotten gut checked by an overzealous little brother. Wildwing brought a hand up and groggily patted his brother’s head feffers.
