What's worse, Inko kept Izuku's older none overly damaged pairs for sentimental value, all three of Izuku and Katsuki's kids have the same shoe size as Izuku at somepoint in his life. So they all cheer with joy over getting old pairs of shoes, Katsuki hates it because otherwise the three got his sense of fashion. The damned red shoes haunt him, because Izuku as an adult still buys them because it's what he likes, Katsuki has to fight all of them to wear anything but the damn red shoes.

These shoes will haunt Katsuki for the rest of his life, and All Might and his parents simply just tell him it will be okay.

bakugo calls him “nerd” but it’s basically his love language at this point. the way deku still looks at him with that same determination from when they were kids, but now it’s mixed with respect?? it’s poetry.

they’ve both grown so much. bakugo learning to apologize and deku learning that he doesn’t have to do everything alone?? that’s not just development, that’s a whole love story arc.

idc what anyone says—bkdk isn’t just about explosions and punches, it’s about healing. it’s about two boys who learned to be better for themselves and each other.
