I totally think X approached G to talk art and love (two things I am sure X never thought she'd actively approach someone to talk about. lol). About to watch the dreaded season 5. I heard this is the season with Xena and Ares but my head cannon is that they are both poli but Xena and Gabrielle are their primary partners. I like Ares as a character but not with Xena.
