A’Pieu Green Tea Milk Sheet Mask (Soothing) . I’ve been eyeing these sheet masks for a while now because of the cute packaging but also because they’re all inspired by flavoured milk which makes me think they’ll be quite moisturizing. I decided to go for the soothing formula because I have very sensitive skin and always looking for something to calm down the redness. Also, it was the safest bet for me to not be affected by any of the ingredients since its specially designed for sensitive skin. . Size : It is a little too big for my face as are most sheet masks and I had to adjust it by folding edges to make it sit properly around my mouth and eyes. . Serum : The serum is a milky white essence which is not too slimy and has a very mild scent to it. It smells quite fresh. . Effect: I kept it on for 15-20 mins and rubbed in the essence. It was already too much for my face and I had to wait for another 5 mins for the essence to sink in. . It made my skin brighter and clearer. There is definitely a glow that I can notice. A red patch on my skin and two red spots look visibly less red after using this. No breakouts or irritation. . So far I’m loving this sheet mask! It’s Skin Li Effector - Power 10 Formula This ampoule/serum is infused with licorice extracts which is an essential ingredient to reduce the production of melanin and help in brightening dark spots and hyperpigmentation. First thoughts : When I first started using this product, I noticed it has the usual gel like ampoule consistency however it is very sticky on application. I used it on and off because I was uncomfortable with the stickyness. It stayed on the skin much longer than any other serums I had used. It also made applying moisturizer on top really weird and I had to wait longer for it to sink in. Some nights I would skip moisturizer altogether because it felt too heavy on my skin after this. Current thoughts: It wasn’t until a few months of using it that I discovered that the dark patches on the sides of my cheeks have visibly reduced/ almost disappeared and are not even visible even without any makeup on my skin. This is the only hyperpigmentation product I’ve been using lately and I am quite impressed with the results. Will I repurchase though? Not really.
