Welcome to my World!

This weekend we decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle and do something fun. We let go of all our self judgement and left everything on the canvas. It reminded me how important getting down and creative is for not only us, but children as well. Studies show children are more creative and confident when introduced to art at an early age. The more freedom they have to create, the more successful adults they become. What can you do as parents? Its easy! Give your children different art materials and have at it! (cooking counts, too! Next time your’e making a meal, have them help you.) Children are more capable than you may think. :) 

Hello, my name is Madison. I am a teacher (Education Coordinator) in early childhood education. I decided to make this blog to share some of my knowledge about children. My goal with this blog: If I can help just ONE child, ONE parent feel more confident and empowered in their child’s life, than I made a difference.
