nights of nothing

I've been tormenting the lad more than usual recently so it's only fair he gets an updated character sheet. Not a completed backstory though, I just picked him up and shook him untill some key items fell out, do with that information what you will (he also dropped his playlist )

Minor Greco-Venetian noble, medical university dropout turned Hospitaller man-at-arms turned mercenary in Sigismund's service,

Born: 1368, Duchy of Candia, Venetian-occupied Crete

Died: 1412, somewhere on the road to Székesfehérvár, Hungary

I) Cretan Dagger: The Venetians bought Crete from the crusader lords for five thousand gold ducats. Keeping it would prove much more expensive, and it would be paid in blood.

II) Fine Genovese Crossbow: Some dead mercenary's pride, salvaged from the battlefield of Chioggia. Polished cherrywood inlaid with ivory and mother-of-pearl. When she stretches her strong shoulders back, she can punch a bolt through maille as if it were fine silk.

III) Torn Crusader's Hood: Piece of a hood bearing the eight-pointed cross of the Hospitallers, retrieved from the carnage of Nicopolis. Not even the waters of the Danube could wash out all the blood.

IV) Old Mercenary's Boots: These boots will get you wherever you want to go. They've trudged through the snowy Alps, the marshy valley of the Po and the open plains of Hungary. And when the time comes, they'll walk with you all the way to Hell.
