They're really advertizing the Small Wailord more often for some reason in a somewhat South Asian themed region, i have a hunch they'll give him a crossgen evolution to become larger like the giant he's suppose to be in-game (Like have you seen his stats? They need more sauce nowadays...)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With Winds and Waves debuting, i decided to give a Hoenn Pokemon some needed appreciation that hopefully doesn't get the Dudunsparce treatment later on.

Upon leveling up after learning the move AncientPower, Wailord can evolve into Wailosus!

Wailosus - a Water type - this massive evolution of Wailord is to help out the cetacean competitively, while also making it look actually massive in the overworld. The evolution is based on basilosaurids - specifically the Perucetus colossus which is estimated to be heavier than the Blue Whale. These evolutions are commonly seen in the open oceans or along the coasts heaving thier massive bodies like the Elephant Seal.

(2) Oblivious

(H) Aerilate

Gender Ratio: 50%M/50%F

Egg Group: Field; Water 2

Height Range: Leviathan

Competitive Classification: Regular Species

Base Stats:

HP: 170

These Pokemon haul themselves onto shore once in a while to relax after deepsea hunting." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Originally i wanted Wailosus to be Water/Ground, but i felt it would've overlapped with another giant crossgen evolution based on a species of megafauna that gains the Ground type. 🐻🌛 Here's some bonus pics as well in different poses (with a shiny variant because i love you all)
