Fat platypus is excellent.

As I told that I have an Sheltie and I mentioned that walkie times where supposed on the dogs - it is individual! And if you are working you can not walk so long!

Sammy is an herding breed and needs much attention! Not only with walkies. I need to train him mentally too. So I go ca. 2-3h a day with trick/mentall training.

As soon as I said it I was told to abuse him because I do not enough!

How long do you walk with your dog? Are they right that I do not enough?

NiteHawk is a 65# border husky who has seemingly endless amounts of energy - physically and mentally - but even he is plenty stimulated and exercised by our routine.

Our typical weekday: •10-15 min walk before I go to work (because I like to sleep and so does he) •15-25 min on my lunch break •1-2 hours off leash at a 35 acre dog park where he can run and snuffle and be a dog •10-15 min before bed

Occasionally we throw in some trick training but Hawk doesn’t really dig tricks most days. He has to do a couple tricks for his food, but that’s about all I can usually get out of him.
