Nina was like the Olivia Pope of the witch world. Somewhere along the lines in her life, willing to give everything up for love just wasn’t a thing anymore. She wanted success, and she wanted the passion and fire that came along with her work. Being on the high council was no longer her dream. It was this, being in the thick of it, being a fixer and it also kept her busy, and unthinking about how she’d lost the only man she’d ever romantically loved and it wasn’t due to hunters, it was witches. And that’s how she knew that she had to make a difference in this community. So that no one would feel that lost due to stupidity and blatant anger and the joy of spilling innocent blood.
She was meeting Tyler today and that had perked her up. She wanted to turn her phone off because she knew that if there was an emergency se needed to handle, she’d never hear the end of it at the firm she worked for if she didn’t answer. As she walked up and saw Tyler her smile grew. “Thank you for wanting to hang out I think I was going fucking crazy and ready to kill an intern at the office for fucking up an important case. You just saved a life today, Ty.” Though, technically if she hadn’t used her family name to prove her worth, she too would have been at the intern level, but she was a Ryback so the world thought and she’d do anything she set her mind to. As she neared, she hugged him. “Is this a meet up where I need to ask, where I need to hide the body?” She was joking of course.
