Me, continuing the third story mission at level 45 because i spent all my time exploring and doing side missions before i was ready to continue:

He nodded along to Ruben’s words. It was a lecture he’s heard more than once but when psuh came to shove - not literally - his boss didn’t really like it when he caused a fuss. Though why someone would come to a gay bar and so brazenly toss a word like that around was beyond him. 

“I know, come on, let’s go. I have to get back to the bar, and you have to sit there so you don’t start getting into fights again,” he frowned, taking him by the hand and leading him away from the scene of the crime. “You didn’t get hurt, right?” he asked softly. It was a silly question, considering just how old and powerful that Ruben was but Robbie still had to ask. Just in case.

“So you have to go back to work and I have to vanish in the shadows like I am some dirty secret or a bad boy in class who gets the corner to face instead of the blackboard?” Ruben asked, as he let the other guide him, and following him. He was not in the mood for that type of behavior. Neither the homophobic trash that was way too familiar to an abusive dad, nor the secret keeping and grounding. He was not with Klaus after all.

Robbie’s eyes were wide as he looked at Ruben practically strangling one of the patrons. He didn’t even really hear what he had said over how loud the rest of the bar was, but the blonde man had. He rushed over to where they were and he put his hand on Ruben’s shoulder. “It’s okay, I didn’t hear it. God, my boss is going to kill me,” he muttered, trying to get him to let go.

The other man tried to cough something out, and Robbie didn’t like the way his breath seemed to gurgle. “Okay, I accept your apology, now let him go!” he hissed again, trying to tug at Ruben’s are. “It’s all right folks, nothing to see here. Bouncer’s going to take him out, everyone get back to your drinks.”

“You should not put up with this type of behavior, Robbie,” Ruben pointed as his arm was tried to be pulled so he moved. He didn’t, yet. But nevertheless, released the other not without being tempted from grabbing their balls and giving them quite the pain to remember. But no. No that was wrong. Apparently. 

“although it is not a bad suggestion, I don’t think it’d be much wise to do that.” Ruben pointed as he took a sip from his glass facing the other while staring over a book. He was not Kol and he had never been interested in grimoire, much less his mother’s, so of cuorse watching her searching on a spell book was , if anything, boring. But being told to much the glass for entertainment? “Come on, it can’t be that interesting to read a book over having a nice and entertaining conversation with a guy like me.”
