“Were you bullied as a kid?”

My answer has always been no.

Cyber bullying: people who poke fun and insult someone online, hidden behind their screens for protection.

“Nope...never happened to me”

Physical bullying: being hit, punched, kicked, poked, smacked etc.

“Are you serious, no that would be horrible! Thanks god!”

Only as I have gotten older, I realized it’s not so black and white...

Growing up, no child has there priorities straight. I thought what I had was normal and only now do I realize my one friendship I tried to maintain was all a hoax. A best friendship even...how naive one can be. Not a symbiotic relationship; more like being infected by a parasite. Being malnourished emotionally for years. If that’s not bullying, I don’t know what is.
