Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Fandom Games!
We were previously the Phandom Games, but the Phandom has been dying out some recently, so we’ve elected to rebrand to the Fandom Games!
What are the Games?
Valid question! The Fandom Games are a completely free, online competition where fandom members team up with each other to try to beat challenges. There are three rounds, and ten challenges a round. The ten categories are edit/collage, design, fanfic, fanart, fan experience, fandoms collide, replay, truth or dare, video, and hunt (these are subject to change, as we’re changing many, MANY things this year!). The gamemakers provide teams with challenges within those categories, and we judge each submission with a point system to determine scores for each round. Teams are eliminated at the end of each round, and the final teams compete in a final challenge!
How are fandoms incorporated?
Players will be divided into teams based off their fandom. Players in multiple fandoms will be in whichever team is most convenient for the social medias they have available to communicate with said team on. (Trust us, it works!) If there’s an influx of people from any particular fandom, we’ll have multiple teams for that fandom rather than allowing some teams to be larger than others. Essentially, the fandoms will battle it out to discover which fandom is truly the greatest!
When is this happening, and how do I join?
The games will take place from July 27-August 6/7 (we’re not quite sure yet!) However, your team may be eliminated before the Games end (as early as July 29.)

We would greatly appreciate if you would like/reblog this post, even if you don’t sign up! We need your help to increase our sphere of influence outside of our original audience so this can be a success.
Please let us know if you change your URL before the games so we don’t have to hunt you down!
Be prepared to get a message from your captain a few days before the games! They’ll be enthusiastic and ready to go, so you should be too!
