I realized something today.
I absolutely adore the way my cat's little white forehead triangle is off center.
I love the quilt my aunties made me because the stitches are homemade and crooked.
I prefer handmade pottery because it is beautiful and full of personality and, yes, sometimes a little wonky.
I never understand when someone says, "Sorry, it didn't come out quite right . . ." because I love how "not quite right" means it's unique and endearing.
I think it's adorable that my daughter's socks don't match and that her hair is a mess thirty seconds after it's done.
I always find old, mismatched furniture to be quirky and charming.
I enjoy the peculiarities of old houses—the creaking sounds, the doors that don’t close all the way, the one shower that only turns on if you push in the knob just right, the sorts of things you learn after living there for some time and that you start to love because they mean home.
And I realized that maybe someone can love me, too, not because they overlook my imperfections, but because they prefer them.
can someone help me contact Kaenith??
I really want this design tattooed, but I don't want to steal. Help me get permission??
