And when we build our walls
we do not wish someone to break them down. No violent acts will do.
We need someone to start climbing.
Start climbing and hang on
no matter how the ground shakes and rumbles with fear.
We need someone to climb to the top
and scream from the soul that they will,
brick by brick,
find their way down on the other side,
line in hand,
ready to pull you out.
And so here we are.
You are seated in your righteous bulldozer of intent
and I am begging for a rope
