Do i like girls or am I just sick of men

I’m failing to see what’s so special about Ji Pyeong, he just seems like a typical male lead character? Dosan isn’t any more special either but reading some comments, I feel like I’m watching a whole different show.

Ji Pyeong is the one that went out of his way to look for Dosan and wanted him to lie to Dalmi. He used his investment power to convince him and then managed to insult Samsam Tech. His defence mechanism is being an asshole which is why he doesn’t have any friends. Yeah he doesn’t have family but that doesn’t really mean he is entitled to Dalmi. She is human and not an object. Honestly, does he actually even like Dalmi? It seems as if he likes the idea of her rather than who she is.

Was this scene meant to be funny or annoying? Me? I am irritated that Han Ji Pyeong got excluded from that beach trip — RIGHT IN HIS FACE. Like he meant so little to everyone there. Maybe he actually does. In the end, he’s gonna be all alone and will just be in the shadows protecting Seo Dal Mi (and Grandma probably). Sorry for the little rant. I just still feel sad about it :(

But why should he be invited? It sucks to feel left out but this was something Dosan did for Dalmi and Grandma, and in Dalmi’s eyes - she doesn’t know Ji Pyeong as more than her mentor. It was already strange for him to even sleep over at her house.

look i adore jipyeong with all my heart but the writers are really butchering his character by trying their utmost to make him into a tragic second lead. there’s no real basis for jipyeong’s romantic feelings for dalmi and i find it unbelievable that he somehow fell in love with her through the letters cause he obviously never even spared a thought for it until he met granny again. he has only ever spoken to dalmi in the capacity of a mentor and has no true connection with her, and you’re telling me that he’s willing to give up the life that he has so painstakingly built just to be in a relationship with her? it makes absolutely no sense

I feel like he likes the idea of her rather than her. Dalmi represents stability, warmth, love and family which is something that he only experienced with Gradma for a short period of time. He sees Dosan having everything he’s never had and wants that. Does he like Dalmi romantically? Debatable. I think he’s growing to liking her and admiring her but he doesn’t know how to love. I want him to be happy and that will only happen if he deals with his self destructive tendencies that he has due to his background.
