Without You Things Go Hazy

Pretty much my whole life, I’ve been a crazy journaler. My mom used to keep a prayer journal for me when I was too young to write, which is something I’m SO thankful to be able to go back and look at. Then once I could do it on my own, I just filled journal after journal of prayers and hopes for the future and what my life looked like then. This past November, it sort of dawned on me that I have slowly stopped journaling since high school. I went to my parents’ house recently (where I have a bookshelf full of old journals) and started reading the journal I had through my last couple of years of high school, and I was shocked at how much I had forgotten! It really inspired me to start doing it again. Life moves so fast and I feel like this is such a sweet season that I always want to be able to look back on and remember, but it’s been so difficult for me to sit down and write haha...and I’m not sure why because it used to be the best part of my day. I literally went out, bought a new journal, and then wrote in it maybe 6 or 7 times since November. So I’m thinking about maybe starting a blog or just posting more personal things on here, mostly as a way of capturing the day to day stuff that I tend to forget. Idk we’ll see, I just feel like typing is so much faster so I’d be more likely to do it more often.
