Most of us watch pc group content. But I know quite a few people who skip some of thier individual content

I was watching Vern’s stream and for a while he’s been stressed about his low view count and I find it interesting pc fans despite drawing Vern the most and him being the most active seem to watch him the least

Sophist views count is also just pretty shit most of the time.

So I ask, what are your reasons for watching/not watching a crashers solo content. Mainly interested in vernias

For me personally. His style of humour is not very funny to me and his editing gives me a headache. Plus he always got his camera on and I um, well I dont perfer that.

Nicks my favorite solo content. Especially when he’s truly solo whitch is rare. No guests, no livestream footage, just pure nerd gushing about smash or something.

as understanding dawned upon our remaining hunters, they failed to notice the flickering of their flashlights. well, most of them failed to notice the flickering of their flashlights.

“what is-“

“i’m sorry, i fear this decision has already been made. if you survive, send paint my apologies.”

and just like that the doors leading into the greenhouse slammed with excessive force, seemingly locking themselves. 

as vernias ran up to the door, rattling the handle, muttering a steady steam of “shit, shit, shit..”

a copy of daisy appeared. this.. clone.. was drearier, almost zombie-like. while it seemed mindless and was certainly slow, it was definitely still aiming for murder. 

“FUCK.”

as daisy popped into existence at the center of the creek, they were met with wide eyes and averted glances.

“honey..”

“he said he could swim. he can swim, he’s coming up just now.”

“okay.”

“i knew- he knows how to swim. he won’t drown.”

“honey, he passed out awhile ago.”

“..he’s just resting.”

“..”

“daisy.?”

“yes?”

“did i just kill an innocent man?”

“he said he could swim.”

“he did say that.”

“..”

“he’s not coming up is he?”

“i don’t think so, honey.”

“i just-“

“-it’s okay. we can.. we can salvage this.”

“i killed-“

“he’s not dead.”

“he-“

“am i dead?”

“..”

“you consider death the loss of sentience, don’t you?”

“..i do.”

“save the i do’s for our vow renewals.”

“this isn’t funny. i just murdered-“

“one second.”

and just like that, they were gone.

“oh god.. he wasn’t supposed to-“

“honey?”

“daisy?”

“look over there.”

at the far corner of the body of water a body slowly walked out. emerging from the water at a gradual pace, was nicholas. except, this time around, something was.. off. 

as he turned around, the water from his lungs slowly fell out of his mouth, akin to the waterfall in the corner of the creek. his eyes were glazed over and he walked in an odd manner. his breathing was off and, despite her ability hear the impossible, she couldn’t identify a heartbeat. 

“daisy..”

“good as new!”

“what happened?”

“desperate souls, who don’t know how to return to the land of the living, are very willing to sell their souls to a ‘demon’. that’s the first rule you learn to exploit as a mimic.”

“is he.. alive?”

“..his body-“

“did i kill him?”

“honey-“

“is he dead by my standard?”

“not.. do you not want him to be?”

“no!”

“then, he won’t be.”

the body that was slowly making its way toward the pair suddenly fell limp. after a disorienting second, a white mist like gas arose.

the pair locked eyes and in the blink of an eye she rushed over. once at his side, the panic was clear within her movements.

“..nick?”

“what- why?”

he placed a hand on the wooden walkway leading to the center of the creek and watched as his hand phased in and out of it. slowly, he looked down.. and watched himself phase in and out.

“what- what happened?!”

“you.. i-“

“nice to meet ya! i’m daisy! probably should’ve told you my name before i bought your soul..”

“..that was real?”

“oh, entirely so! i control your spirit now. better yet, look at this!”

suddenly, nick’s body got up.. and fell right back down. a coughing fit ensued. 

“god, how do you people deal with this flimsy vessel?”

“daisy! get out of there!”

“i own this body, babe!”

“that- daisy.”

slowly, the body paled and the life drained out of it, yet again.

“buzzkill.”

“oh my gosh..”

“oh god, please don’t have a crisis.”

“I’M DEAD!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN DON’T HAVE A CRISIS?!”

“god! even in death, you’re loud!”

“daisy! cut him some slack, you weren’t exactly beaming when you first died..”

“honeyyyyy. we promised we wouldn’t talk about that anymore..”

“i know, but we have bigger issues! how do we get him back in there?”

“oh easy! i just give him back his body and y’know.. do my thing!”

“can we do that?”

“you- you don’t want me dead?”

“it wasn’t supposed to kill you! gods, i am so, so sorry.”

“what about his end of the deal?”

“what did you ask for?”

silence and a look. a silent understanding to follow in their lead. surprisingly, the girl quieted and fell behind her partner. 

“i- what?”

“are you hard of hearing? what about-“

“no- i heard you! what do- oh.. i? i guess-“

“you do not guess. your soul will still be bound even if i allow you to be resurrected.”

“i-“ a flash of light enveloped the area.

“there you go! one resurrection! don’t expect this to always be possible, the only reason it worked was because your body was still alive.. to some degree.” the girl’s eyes were still distant, yet she stood firmly behind her partner. 

“what-“

“your people have broken my door down. i expect it replaced by this weekend. the rest of our deal should be completed soon.”

“NICK!!”

a variety of bones get lifted from the creek, human and animal alike. the bones were tinged the same faint color that surrounded the female ghost. they came together to form a creature being held together by moss and vine all enveloped in a yellow glow.

vernias is the touchiest of all of them, and initiates contact the most

vern also loves giving forehead kisses, and will tilt the others’ faces down to do so

brent is the least touchy, but the most clingy

he also enjoys fidgeting with their fingers (all of them do this to some extent, but he does it the most)

sophist has trouble initiating contact, but he is touch-starved and really enjoys it

(they catch on eventually and start being more intentional with their contact)

nick is the most likely to initiate a kiss

all of them enjoy having their hair played with

sophist gets anxious about subconsciously having favorites

brent is very very comfortable around his partners, and is very very uncomfortable around everyone else

both brent and eevee space out often staring at the other two (and at each other)

brent Observes, sophist Stares

brent does not change his behavior at all since dating, besides cuddles and a few more joke opportunities

nick is the only one who gets jealous, and just kind of stews in it for a while before somebody catches on and (lovingly) tells him that he's being stupid

vern is really good at flirting and will make it his life goal to fluster the others

the color coding is perfect don’t even worry!

i really like the fact that sophist’s color takes up most of that one word to specify that it’s mostly him that catches on. perfect detail!

also sophist having trouble initiating contact is like so real i can’t even. it’s so him, no one can convince me otherwise. i also love how you don’t erase certain duos’ dynamics, but rather amplify them and blend it with the others. that’s an issue i have when writing poly crashers. i lean too into one or two pairs and then the dynamic between all of ‘em feels off or i don’t and then they feel underdeveloped and like it leans too heavily on a group dynamic so the individual duos suffer. if that makes sense?

i really think that sophist would be the most in-tune to nick's emotions, and coloring is such a fun way to add another dimension to writings and has the potential for so many implications, i want to continue doing it and experimenting with more things!!

sophist is SO real for being a wreck, he's so incredibly relatable.

we differ a bit here, i think vern would be the most in-tune with nick’s emotions. however, i totally see your point. i think sophist would be a close second, mainly because he gets feels a shit ton of emotions — most of them negative. so of course he’d understand when one of his guys are feeling bad or negative.

your coloring is amazing muffin, don’t even sweat it!! it’s so intentional and thoughtful. if that makes sense, i kinda just be saying shit. totally continue and experiment! i’ll be here for the ride (especially because your ideas are so peak can’t even lie)

thank you so much!!! that was so sweet and like coherent? if that makes sense? like i totally understand what you mean and i don’t think i could’ve gotten your point across better. that being said, i can’t thank you enough that’s actually might be the nicest thing someone’s ever said about my writing like ever. i can’t lie, it’s because i kind of get absorbed into the characters whilst i write and try to adopt their language to make it fit better. also silent understanding is like huge for my characters which is where i think you’re coming from. this is because i feel like with people generally once you like love someone you kind of get in tune with who they are and adapt to them as a person. this is reflected in real life, therefore i try to make my work imitate that. dynamic wise, it has its drawbacks. i get a bit too immersed into individual relationships / relationships i’d like to explore then like get stuck there.
