In these times, that's a polarizing question. Forever a melting pot of a country, we easily forget our history and reason for being.

Part 1

Fred Brathwaite aka Fab 5 Freddy graced Atlanta with his presence this week to discuss his new book "Everybody's Fly, A Life of Art, Music, and Changing the Culture". As expected, he shared so many epic stories that evidenced universal alignment, with Fred's talent being at the right place and right time. He was at the inception of so many emerging subcultures, poised to navigate them with ease. The book is a fun read and it was such an honor to finally meet the iconic griot known as Fab 5 Freddy.

Day at the museum: Dallas Museum of Art

The second half of the night was danced away in the grand room. An equally impressive sound system permeated through the white, futuristic looking room. The ambient colored lights flowed through the room as diverse party-goers marveled at the DJ booth. Carefully crafted cocktails were poured all night and the whimsical sight of signature soft serve 🍦 ice cream being enjoyed made me chuckle. The friendly staff kept their spirits high during the busy night and Skeme's musical selections kept the vibes high all night. I hope shyboy becomes the go-to staple Dallas music lovers needed.
