I LOVE THIS MAN! 

I'm so freaking happy.

Happy here, geographically speaking, happy internally, actually feeling like I can contribute to the greater good of society, just happy. 

I still have a few things on my to do list:

-get a paying job

-figure out how to manage having Prince here

-figuring out what Ryan's surprise is

Ryan, my boyfriend, is one splendid dude. You (family) will all get to know him, in due time. Monica and hot grandmama, you'll probably be the first. You guys are going to love him, he's a keeper.

Job-wise. I'm struggling, two unpaid internships are putting a massive toll on my mom and Eric (thank you two for doing more than I could ever even WISH, you're so truly amazing and supportive, I love you :) ); but we're getting through it. I've recently set up a not-for-profit organization entitled, "Gifts for Nikki", which allows family members and friends the opportunity to donate small home goods/pots/pans/electronics to struggling Nikki, the author of this amazing blog, and recently-graduated college student. Two-in-one Washing Machine/ Dryer

Who thought of this idiotic idea?

I'm thoroughly DISPLEASED with the mechanics of such a device. While the logic and innovation is there, the 'routine' is absolutely retarded. I put my clothes into the tiny crevasse of a washing bin, only to find that it takes 4-6 hours, on average, to complete one cycle of wash and dry.

Metro stations&staff//ComCast//My neighbor

My hatred of the metro stations and staff stem from two sources: all of the workers are rude and expect you to understand what they're saying while they're behind a window and are trying to direct you somewhere (yet you can't hear them). What the eff? So annoying. And tourists, MOVE TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ESCALATOR. 

ComCast. Do any of them know what their job is? Jesus, I call because they didn't show up two days in a row and made me wait for nine hours each day, but then when I demanded they come within the next day or so, AFTER work (because some of us actually do our jobs), they refused and told me I'd still be responsible for the installation fee of $35. Ugh. I'd rather tether and get slow speed than mess with that.
