This eccentric ensemble came from a variety of stores.  I was lucky enough to snag this Star Crafts T-Shirt while it was on sale.  Maybe they'll have another one during the holiday season!  I bought the jacket because I needed something that was actually waterproof and wind resistant.  Look at all of the zippers!!!!  Finally, I bought the 40s head piece because I thought it looked really cool.  Vintage head pieces make me inordinately happy. Every other day, I like to check out the shopping section of Groupon to see what kind of deals I can get.  I found a Groupon that was $40 for $80 worth of American Apparel merchandise, so I bought it.  I'll tell you this right now: it was extremely difficult to find something I loved for the right price.  Everything there is extremely expensive, and the build quality wasn't even that great.  I ended up buying five pairs of tights, because why not?  Three of them were $16 each and the other two were $25 because they were extra opaque (much quality, so wow).

It's been awhile!  I spent my winter break back home in New York City for two weeks.  I discovered a new thrift store that's very vintage.  It's called Agnela's Vintage Boutique.  They had everything from long evening gowns to funky felt hats.  The woman who owns it was an older woman who originally owned three stores, but downsized to just this one.  I ended up buying this Betsy Johnson dress.  Originally, it was $55, but the owner brought it down to $45.  There're tons of thrift stores in the area (East Village).  I highly suggest checking them all out! I also went to the Gap near Penn Station where everything was 30% off.  I love the cardigan I bought (it's so soft and warm!), but the sweater I bought has kind of a weird cut to it.  One day, I'll sew up the bottom flares.  The sweater and cardigan were $20 each. Lastly, I needed a new pair of casual/formal walking shoes.  My mom let me borrow a new pair she purchased from Aerosoles.  While looking around for a Starbucks, I noticed an Aerosoles right on the corner.  I popped in, and after unsuccessfully attempting to find different walking shoes, I ended up buying the exact pair my mom bought, which is slightly terrifying :P. I went to Homecoming last weekend and had a ton of fun.  There were friends, board games, and my lovely boyfriend.  We all went to Ghyslain's, a wonderful French restaurant, for dessert.  The picture above is of my friend Charlotte and I, in which we are sporting our fabulous dresses we both bought on sale!

Charlotte bought her dress from Unique Boutique for $35.  It was originally $195, but the salesman gave it to her at a fraction of the cost so she would, "be a walking advertisement."  I wish we had a full length shot, but the photographer *cough, my boyfriend, cough* moved while taking the photo, hence making it blurry.

Sorry for the late post!  The last couple of weeks have been super crazy.  I toured around the Center City area and went to Buffalo Exchange.  It was a pretty large store.  I highly recommend it!

Went shopping with my mom at Century 21 for work clothes.  There are actually two stores, in which the shoes and home amenities are on one side of the street, and the men's and women's clothing store is on the other side.  It's a great place to get really nice clothing for discount prices, but it is a little more on the expensive side.
