after American Horror Story we went to my room and took our shoes off and got into bed and just held onto each other and I almost fell asleep and I didn't want him to leave. But he works tomorrow, he's getting paid well + bonus so he had to get home. I so, so badly wanted to just stay right there, with him in my arms, breathing gently and drifting off. I want to feel him fall asleep on my chest. I want to know that I've brought him such safety and calm that he can feel fully secure being at his most vulnerable, with me. I don't know how much of it makes sense, but I want his breath and his face and his lips to be the strings that tie the days together through the nights. I want to be asleep with him, to live outside ourselves, so maybe in dreams we can be just one.
