thinking about the use of happiness at the end of the doc and how it sums up how taylor wanted us to look back on eras. it’s so abundantly clear, especially now, that she wanted eras to be an escape. pure joy in the moment. but also something we can look back on and find some of that happiness again. eras may have ended, but we’ll always have those memories. happiness is in our history. but it’s also in our future. and we will see it whenever we hear those songs again
