I've seen no one yet bring this up, but I think it's pretty well known by now that the Captain America in the X-Men comics HATES mutants for some reason. Steve ROGERS Captain America may I remind you. The man who grew up in a diverse community of people and was kicked around his whole life right alongside them.

It's so weird to me that the X-Men writers made him hate mutants when I see him realistically advocating for their RIGHTS. They of couse need someone to be the racist person for their racism allegory and usually the blond-haired blue-eyed white man would get the point right across, but I don't think Steve Rogers is the one.

Anyways, just to be safe, I'm sending this post out into the world in the hopes we get progressive punk Steve Rogers in Avengers Doomsday if he interacts with the X-Men and NOTHING else.

peter is genuinely one of the toughest characters in media that i know, and that’s kind of his appeal to me.

i think a lot of you guys are gonna relate to this as well, but I’m someone who grew up a little too fast, and i see that part of myself in peter. i think this is where the “uwu little guy” version of peter comes from— we see someone extremely tough and mature for their age out of necessity, someone who has seen things that most people haven’t, and has lost the ability to relate to people his own age. and then we see someone like tony show compassion for him, and take him under his wing, and take some of that pressure away. take some of the world off his shoulders. and this is everything— we want to see him taken care of, in the ways we never were. we want to see him being a kid because that’s what we want for ourselves.

their friendship is so cute and overlooked

like they became close friends in just a few short weeks and then spent 2 years together looking for bucky and at no point did sam give up, he did that all for steve. he didn't know bucky personally, that dude had taken his damn steering wheel, ripped his wings, nearly killed natasha, steve, and basically him, but he still looked for a guy who was dead for all they knew or who would get executed - just because steve believed. people always refer to tony as steve's best friend apart from bucky, but i disagree. maybe civil war made them seem closer than they are. sam and steve were best friends, steve and tony were more like a difficult friendship that's never been easy, not from the moment they met, one that's constantly hanging on a string.

just love how sam and steve are always there for eachother, neither of them ever gave up, and sam's dedication to steve doesn't look like some fanboy in over his head, it's just a dude who loves his friend. i feel like HE was the only one who really saw steve for who he is outside of bucky, who got to know the real man behind the shield.

Sam is the guy who understands the rules to a basic level but isn't very interested. He'll watch it with you to spend the time but he was never really a sports guy.

Dean on the other hand, pretends to not be interested but then he starts getting too invested and yelling at the TV and cheers and high-fives you when your team wins! After that, he's always rushing to put on the game when no one is busy hunting.
