Why the New Spiderman Means Hella to Me
Okay, so, yesterday I went with my family to see the new Spiderman movie with all the alternate dimensions. And my little-mixed ass got so fucking excited to see his parents were Hispanic and black because my little ass was made by a black woman and a Hispanic man. And honestly can I say the fact that they spoke like real bilinguals in this movie really made me happy, wit the switching languages in the middle of a sentence and one person speaking Spanish and the other English. like yes fucking please. Then dont get me started on Milesâ uncle and his dad's relationship. because it really be like that in black families. the pride or disagreements really get between people. and then when his dad fucking was like im sorry son I want us to have a better relationship and I dont want you to ignore me any more cause really. my mom really said the same thing to me like two days before because she feels like she driving me away (she kinda is) and bruh this movie hit me hard.
but now the fucking representation and lack of romance subplot. thank fucking god there was not romance, i think i would have vomited cause there my age and no thank you especially for only knowing each other like two days, yeah looking at you Disney Princesses. and the representation was fucking hella good for mixed kids especially blaspanic kids like me. like straight up i was a cross fit today and the song sunflower came up while i was having trouble doing TTBs and whole honeslty i just went, would Miles give up, no, okay, lets getter done then
Thank you bye
âQuĂ©â vs. âCuĂĄlâ in Spanish
Hope this helps:)
Qué
When in questions
Used to ask something in general, something we donât know anything about. If the verb carries a preposition, the preposition goes before quĂ©.
ÂżQuĂ© es la biologĂa? What is biology?Â
¿Qué harås mañana? What will you do tomorrow?
¿De qué hablas? What are you talking about?
When in a sentence working as a question
There are no question marks but thereâs the intention of a question.Â
Me pregunto quĂ© es un hobbit. I wonder what a hobbit is.Â
When in exclamations
Used as an expression of emotion, feeling or reaction.Â
ÂĄQuĂ© mañana tan agradable! What a nice morning!Â
CuĂĄlÂ
When in questions
Used to ask for an option between a list of similar possibilities. Both the speaker and the listener know about these possibilities, they expect them to be familiar. If the verb carries a preposition, the preposition goes before cuål.
¿Cuål es tu fruta favorita? What/which is your favorite fruit?
¿Cuål es tu opinión? What/Which is your opinion?
ÂżCuĂĄl es el mĂo? Which one is mine?
ÂżDe cuĂĄl hablas? Which one are you talking about?
ÂżCuĂĄl es tu nombre? What is your name?
Note: ÂżQuĂ© es tu nombre? sounds off and translates as âwhat is âyour nameââ as in somebody who doesnât know what names are.
When in a sentence working as a question
There are no question marks but thereâs the intention of a question.
Me pregunto cuĂĄl es la fruta favorita de mi madre. I wonder what my momâs favorite fruit is.
Remember that cuĂĄles is used for when using the plural, but quĂ© never changes. CuĂĄl/cuĂĄles is also used in exclamations, but it is so rare that I think I will talk about that in another post.Â
Check the differenceÂ
¿Qué quieres hacer?¿Ir al cine o comer algo? What do you want to do? Go to the movies or eat something?
Estrenaron Spider-man y La monja. ¿Cuål quieres ver? Spider-man and The nun came out. Which one do you want to watch?
Godâs âThe Bibleâ
In Godâs âThe Bibleâ, the main character Jesus is a very important person.
âȘHAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR MOST AMAZING BEAUTIFUL LEADER WHO CARES FOR THE MEMBERS AND US ARMYS MAY U HAVE MORE WONDERFUL YEARS AND MAKE PRECIOUS MEMORIES WE LOVE U SO MUCH U DESERVE THE BEST â€ïžâŹ
