What do the lyrics: I was feeling insecure / you might not love me anymore, tell you about the nature of John's feelings for the "you" in the song?

You have previously stated that John told you Jealous Guy is about you, Sir Paul McCartney. If the "you" in the song is meant to be you, Sir Paul McCartney, with reference to your own personal relationship with John, how would you interpret the lyrics: I was feeling insecure / you might not love me anymore ?

Jealous Guy came from a composition John started in 1968 called Child of Nature, but was not released until 1971 as the third track on his album Imagine. How do you think the changing nature of your relationship with John between 1968 and 1971 influenced the composition of Jealous Guy? Please put this into context with personal anecdotes. [Some things to keep in mind: John marrying Yoko Ono eight days after you married Linda Eastman; John writing "funeral" over a photograph of you with your wife Linda; John likening your professional relationship to a marriage and then asking you for a metaphorical divorce, which you have ascibred to his desire to devote himself to his actual marriage with his actual wife, Yoko Ono.]
