You know you’ll never be enough to repay me, but that doesn’t stop you from trying does it?

It’s okay to crumble at the sight of divinity; the best place to worship is on your knees.

How could they not? You’re practically whimpering just from the sound of their voice. They know the way your heartbeat quickens and your blood rushes when you place yet another offering at their feet. They know you would never dare defile their holy form with your unclean flesh; their most obedient devotee knows their place. But they also know how your mind wanders; how it sins against your will.
