Moira was no stranger to the field, and sheâd already run plenty of missions under Gabriel during her tenure with Blackwatch. This was different, of course. This was Talon, and their missions tended to be just as dangerous, and much more illegal in nature (not that Blackwatch didnât often flirt with that line). Perhaps that was why they felt it necessary to place two healers on standby. Both, after all, were just as capable of dispensing enemy reinforcements as they were healing their fellow Talon agents.
âWell, this should be interesting,â She commented, casting Baptiste a sidelong glance as they strolled the perimeter. Nothing had started just yet, and so they waded through the calm before the storm. âWeâve never worked together before, quite an introduction, wouldnât you say?â

Baptiste wasnât at all thrilled to be on the back-burner, while the rest of the team was ahead and doing the more interesting parts of the mission. He felt like he was practically babysitting this scientist, no matter how skilled she was in her craft. He wasnât pleased, and his expression conveyed that clearly enough. âIâd say.â He agreed on that at least, that this was quite the circumstance for them to meet for the first time. The combat medic shouldered his hefty weapon, and glanced back at her, trying to not be as uptight as he felt over this situation. âIâve heard quite a bit about you, Doctor Oâdeorain. Never thought youâd actually take to the field with your research, but what do I know... Iâm not used to another medical officer being with me on a mission.â | @talonedbansheeâ |
