A new soundtrack for Godfrey Reggio's cult movie "Koyaanisqatsi" from 1982. 

Filmed in September 2017 in Habay-la-Neuve, Belgium. Recorded, mixed, mastered and edited by Colin Delloye. "Volchovstroy" taken from the album USSR 1926 (Kapitän Platte, released in 2015). A new soundtrack for Dziga Vertov's silent black and white movie "A Sixth Part of the World" from 1926.

Short snippet of the piano intro we will use on the new album. We found some inspiration in Chopin’s music. Imagine some nice guitar sounds layered over it and low vibrating basses, and you get the idea ;-) Enjoy.

We found a bunch of very interesting musical ideas to fit 5 different parts of “Koyaanisqatsi”... maybe in total about 25 minutes of song material that is gradually taking shape. It’s a real puzzle to piece it all together. The whole process was pretty fluid and inspirational until now, let’s hope it remains that way.
