Five Nightâs at Freddyâs: System Reboot AU.
Happy 4th of July.
Description: A Quick little Short Story for July 4th.
Happy Dad's Day everybody!! And I love you PAPA â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
On A Feeling
Gregory, Cassie, and Oswald go out for a day of adventure at Circus Baby's Pizza and Parties one bright weekend. It does not go as any of them had planned...
------------------------
Here's a short video made in sourcefilmmaker, uploaded on my you tube page.
I was running out of ideas. Oswald needed to help fix an arcade machine at Jeffâs Pizza, so Gregory came up with the idea of going into the old Freddyâs to salvage some parts to get it done.
FYI, the animation isnât entirely perfect, but I gave it all I got.

Happy Mother's Day everyone. And I Love you MAMA!!!
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Movie Aftermath: THE COST OF GREED
The pizzeria is dead quiet. GOLDEN FREDDY has already vanishedâno words, no warning, no emotion. He had dragged JANEâS corpse across the filthy tiles, tossed her beside the others like discarded trash, and blinked out of existence in a burst of static.
Now only the bodies remain: MAX, CAROL, JEFF, HANK, and JANE.
The silence stretches until the air begins to HUM. A faint blue glow seeps from the corpses, crawling across the floor like spilled electricity. The temperature drops. Dust lifts. Shadows bend.
Then, the ghosts rise.
MAX forms firstâsharp, furious, his jaw clenched so tight it flickers. CARL follows; her fear twisted into something bitter and sharp. JEFF materializes next, disappointment etched deep into his ghostly features. HANK rises last, towering and silent.
JANEâS ghost rises slowly, glitching and unstable. She blinks, confused, then horrified. Max saw that Jane was dead now too. Immediately When she spotted her, she stormed towards her, grabbing her in the now blue trans parented buttoned shirt
MAX JANE!!!!
Max held on to Jane for just a few more seconds. She then shoved her on to the floor.
MAXÂ Itâs your fault we ended up dead!
JANE (Voice trembling) Max? Jeff? Carl? Hank? Whatâwhat the Hell happened to all of you? Why am Iâ
MAX (Stepping forward, voice layered with static) Dead. Weâre ALL dead, Jane.
Jane staggers backward, her ghostly form flickering like a dying bulb.
JANE No⌠no, thatâs notâ I didnâtâ
JEFF (Cutting her off) You paid us to break into a place you knew nothing about and apparently this place happened to have been haunted my wired ghost controlling robots!
CARLÂ (Shaking his head, eyes hollow) You promised us extra to pay if we did your dirty work for you! But You didnât care what would happen to us. You just wanted your nephew gone.
JANE It's not My fault Mike was carless and irresponsible, I was trying to teach him a lesson.
HANK (Leaning in, voice a low growl) No you Weren't! You were trying to gain fortune without thinking of the possibilities first by throwing all of us at these metal monsters. And now look what Happened!!
Janeâs breath hitches. Her hands shake.
JANE I didnât know! I didnât thinkâ
MAX (Booming, echoing through the room) You didnât think about NOTHING! You didnât think of anyone but yourself!
The lights overhead flicker violently. The animatronics on stageâFreddy, Bonnie, and Chicaâtwitch in rhythm with the emotional static. Jane collapses to her knees, clutching her head.
JANE I just wanted what was mineâŚ
MAX Abby isnât yours. She never was. Mike may not have been the best person under Abbyâs care. But you know what? He was SO RIGHT about YOU! Youâre No Better. If anything, taking Abby under your custody would have only been Worst. And Your Stupid, Cruel, Selfish, Demands proved a Prime Example.
JANE Uhh⌠IâŚ
MAX What did you say to me earlier? *Mocking tone* âYou were about to tell me how Much of a Failure You are.â Yeah, Welp, The Tables have turned. It was YOU That was a failure all along, by being irresponsible in making us trash an abandoned pizza joint to fire Mike, only to find out the reason to this place Being Forgotten was because of the fact that itâs Was Haunted by robotic murdering mascot this whole time. And another thing, the person who hired Mike turned out to be an actually serial Killer. He Planned This set up just in an attempt to kill both MIKE and ABBY this entire time.
CARL How they dodged the bullet that time was a miracle.
JANE WAH..? H... How the Hell was I supposed to know That this whole thing was at A Death trap?
JEFF You know what? It doesnât matter now! What matters is that you used us. You used her. You used everyone.
HANK And now Were all Stuck here. Right in this weird system that apparently is keeping us from going to heaven, or Hell, or.. whatever other place dead people go afterwards. YOUR DUMB DICTATORSHIP KILLED ALL OF US!!!!
JANE (Violently shaking her head) Noâno, pleaseâ I didnât mean for this to happen!
MAX (Crouching in front of her, eyes burning) You meant every dollar you handed us.
Janeâs face crumbles. Black tears begin to spill down her cheeks, streaking her ghostly skin like engine oil.
JANE Iâm sorry⌠Iâm sorryâŚ
CARL Too late.
JEFF (Looking away) Sorry doesnât fix dead.
HANK Weâre done with you.
JANE Done? Whatâwhat does that mean?
MAX (Standing and turning away) We can't do anything with our actually bodies. But there's one
thing us Ghost can do, and that's to get away this awful place. Weâll go suffer our demies elsewhere.
CARL Only, you're Not coming with us.
JEFF You made your bed.
Hank doesnât even look back. The ghosts begin to drift backward, dissolving into the dark corridors of Freddyâs. Their light trails fade one by one into the shadows.
JANE (Reaching out, sobbing) Donât leave me here! Pleaseâ donât leave me alone!
But they are already gone.
The pizzeria falls silent again. The animatronic heads on the shelves turn slowly toward her, their eyes flickering with a cold, mechanical blue. The hum deepenedânot angry, just final.
Janeâs ghost sinks to the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. Black tears drip onto the tiles like ink.
JANE (A broken whisper) I just wanted what was mineâŚ
Her voice breaks into static. And Freddyâs swallows the sound whole.
FADE TO BLACK.
Meanwhile: Back at the storage section of Old Freddy's.....

Hi My name is WesleyAbram (Wesley A. Vega) And this is my First fanfic post on twitter. I'm Actually new to this platform so my performance in posting stuff may start off a little rusty but Here is my story Based on the Fnaf Security breach game as well as the novels that go along with it.
You can read my fanfic now: Five Nights at Freddys: VIP Rebooted Chapters 1 -4 â @wesleyabram on Tumblr
Synopsis:
When Gregory is unexpectedly granted access to the VIP Experience during spring break at the newly rebuilt Mega Pizzaplex, he assumes itâs just another Fazbear upgradeâflashy, harmless, maybe even fun.
Heâs wrong.
The Very Important Upgrade is anything but. Deep in the system, a forgotten program has reawakened: the Very Informative Pig, a corrupted AI with a grudge, a plan, and a talent for twisting the Pizzaplexâs technology into its own personal playground.
Now, with VIP slipping back into the network and hungry for revenge, itâs up to the two superstarsâGregory and Cassieâalongside Glamrock Freddy and Roxanne Wolf, to stop this malware menace before it seizes control of the entire Pizzaplex all over again.
The clock is ticking.
The system is glitching. And VIP is done playing games
Five Night's At Freddy's: VIP Rebooted CH 9 - 12
CHAPTER 9: VIGILANCE ONLINE
The hallway outside Fazer Blast was supposed to feel like freedom. Gregory had imagined the air would taste lighter once they escaped the arena, that the neon haze would finally loosen its grip on his lungs. Instead, the moment the doors sealed behind them, the entire Pizzaplex seemed to freezeâas if holding its breath. A low yet vibrating thump stumbled through the walls. Then the lights snapped from bright neon to a harsh, sterile white.
Freddy stiffened. âGregory⌠somethingâs wrong.â
A distorted PA announcement crackled overhead, the voice glitching like a corrupted file:
âUnauthorized interference detected. Initializing Containment Unit: VIGILANCE.â Cassieâs eyes widened. âContainment unit? What does that mean?â
Before anyone could answer, a heavy clunk echoed from behind them. A maintenance doorâone Gregory had never seen open beforeâshuddered, then slid upward with a grinding metallic groan. Cold air spilled out. And something moved in the dark. At first it was only the sound: a rhythmic clicking, like metal fingertips tapping on tile. Then a single red sensor light flickered to life, sweeping across the hallway in a slow, deliberate arc.
The figure stepped forward. Tall, Skeletal, Built from mismatched STAFF Bot parts, its limbs too long, its joints too exposed. And instead of rolling tires like the other plain STAFF bots, its stabilizer legs unfolded beneath, allowing it to walk forward with unnatural smoothness. Its voice module sputtered, trying to form words through static. âUn⌠auth⌠orized⌠minors⌠detected.â Roxy growled, stepping in front of Gregory. âBack off, tinâsticks.â The sensor eye locked onto her, then onto Gregory, then onto Cassie. It emitted a rising electronic whineâscanning, analyzing, confirming. âReturn⌠to designated⌠containment area.â
Freddy grabbed Gregoryâs arm. âWe need to move. Now.â The unit surged forward, its stabilizer legs Pounding rapidly as it glided across the floor. Gregoryâs heart slammed against his ribs. âRUN!â They sprinted down the hallway, shoes slapping against the tile. Emergency shutters began to descend behind them, one after another, sealing off the path theyâd just taken. The Pizzaplex wasnât just reactingâit was hunting.
Cassie pointed ahead. âMaintenance tunnel! Left!â
They dove through the narrow doorway just as a shutter crashed down behind them. The impact rattled the walls. But the clicking didnât stop. VIGILANCE was still coming. Freddyâs eyes flickered with static. âItâs rerouting. It knows these tunnels.â Gregory swallowed hard. âHow many of those things are there?â A nearby monitor flickered to life, glitching through corrupted maps of the Pizzaplex. Three icons pulsed in red: âVIGILANCE UNIT 01 â ACTIVE , VIGILANCE UNIT 02 â OFFLINE, VIGILANCE UNIT 03 â OFFLINEâ
Below them, a sector label blinked: âARCHIVE WING â RESTRICTEDâ Cassie stared at the screen. âWhatâs the Archive Wing?â Freddy hesitated. âSomething⌠old. Something they never finished.â The clicking grew louder. Closer. Gregory tightened his grip on Freddyâs hand. âWe can figure it out later. Right now we need to survive.â The hallway ahead stretched into darkness. Behind them, the red sensor light cut through the shadows like a blade. And VIGILANCE spoke again, its voice breaking into a cold, mechanical whisper: âContainment⌠in progress.â
CHAPTER 10: BREATHING ROOM
The maintenance tunnel shook as another metallic crash echoed behind them. VIGILANCE was closeâtoo close. Gregory shoved his shoulder against the service hatch wheel, but it barely budged. Cassie strained beside him. âItâs jammed!â Roxy growled, bracing her claws under the edge. âMove, Iâve got itââ But just when Roxy was about to grab hold of the door and force it open, a loud clank came from the other side. Then the hatch wheel spun on its own. Light spilled in as the door swung open. A familiar voice cut through the panic. âKidsâmove! Now!â The beaming shadow behind the light faded slightly within seconds, revealing the face of a familiar female security guard. Gregoryâs face lit up. âVanessa!â he cried as the security guard appeared to them. Cassie practically launched herself forward. âYou found us!â Freddyâs chest plates fluttered with relief. âVanessa, thank goodness.â
She grabbed Gregoryâs wrist first, pulling him through the opening, then Cassie. Roxy and Freddy climbed out on their own. Vanessa spoke quickly, âIâve been tracking the lockdown patterns. Whatever VIP is doing, itâs escalating. We need to get you out of the tunnels beforeââ
A distant metallic click echoed behind them. Vanessa slammed the hatch shut and threw the manual lock. âBefore that catches up.â For a moment, everyone just breathed a sigh of relief. Real air, open space, and no flickering tunnel lights or metal walls closing in on them. But Vanessa didnât breathe for long. She turned sharply toward Gregory, hands on her hips, eyes blazing with a mix of fear and anger. âGregory!!â She boomed, âDo you have any idea what you just caused?â Vanessa already found out that Gregory activated the VIP once more. She was looking back at the surveillance footage while she came to find the two kids. Gregory froze. Cassie winced. Even Roxy took a halfâstep back. Vanessa continued, voice low but fierce. âYou triggered a lockdown, and woke up a containment unit. You nearly got yourselfâand Cassieâcrushed in those tunnels. And now, that VIP thing is fully online because you decided to go explore it all on your own!â Gregory stared at the floor. âI⌠I know.â Vanessa crossed her arms. âYeah!... You know?â He swallowed hard. âI messed up. I shouldnât have used the pass. I shouldâve told you. I get it. Iâm in So Much Trouble.â Vanessa beamed back in response, "Yeah, you certainly are!"
Cassie stepped forward. âVanessa, he was trying to protect me.â âI know,â Vanessa said as she sighed, softer but still stern. âBut that doesnât make it okay.â Freddy placed a gentle hand on Gregoryâs shoulder. âHe understands. Truly.â Vanessa exhaled, the anger fading into raw worry. âGregory⌠Iâm not mad because you broke rules. Iâm mad because I thought I lost you.â Gregoryâs chest tightened. âIâm sorry.â She squeezed his arm. âWeâll talk about it later. Right now, we have to move.â Vanessa guided them quickly around a corner. âCome on. The atriumâs just ahead. We can regroup there.â They burst out from behind a decorative fountain and back to the main atrium where they were before. The vast open space glowing with glitchy neon and looping holograms. Compared to the suffocating tunnels, it felt like stepping into sunlight.
Gregory let out a shaky laugh. âWe made itâŚâ Cassie leaned against the fountain, finally letting her shoulders drop. âI thought we were done for.â Freddy placed a gentle hand on both their backs. âYou are safe. For now.â Vanessa scanned the balconies above. âDonât relax too much. VIPâs got VIGILANCE sweeping the upper levels. We need a hiding spot before itââ A thin red beam swept across the far balcony.
VIGILANCE.
Vanessa hissed, âGET Down!â They ducked behind the fountain as the sensor beam sliced through the air. Gregory whispered, âVanessa⌠we need a plan. VIP is controlling everything.â Vanessa nodded, jaw tight. âThen we take back control. But firstâwe stay hidden.â The red beam passed overhead. The atrium fell silent again. And for the first time since the chaos began⌠They werenât alone. They had Vanessa. And they had a chance.
CHAPTER 11: The Riddle OF The Core
VIGILANCE hit the atrium floor with a metallic quake that rattled the fountain tiles. Vanessa didnât hesitate. âMOVE!â They sprinted across the atrium, weaving between hologram pillars and overturned display carts. The red sensor beam sliced behind them, scorching the floor where Gregoryâs foot had been a second earlier. Freddy scooped Gregory up midârun. âHold on!â Roxy grabbed Cassieâs hand, dragging her forward. âCome on, kid!â Vanessa slammed her badge against a security door panel. âOverrideâVanessa A. Priority level three!â The door hissed open. They dove inside. And the door slammed shut just as VIGILANCEâs claws scraped across the metal. For a moment, the world was silent except for their breathing. Gregory looked around. âWhere are we?â Vanessa steadied herself. âMain Security Room.Â
Vanessa exhaled sharply. âVIP canât fully override this room. When I was searching for you, I passed it and realized this office controls the entire system. We can access VIP from here â and shut it down.â âReally!?â Gregory lit up, hope sparking across his face. âSo if we hack into the system,â Cassie added, âwe can shut it down entirely?â âCorrect,â Vanessa said. âBut access is restricted to staff.â âWell⌠good thing youâre one of them,â Gregory said, relieved.
There was no time for discussions. Vanessa slid into the office chair and immediately began typing. The rapid clicking of keys filled the cramped room as Gregory, Cassie, Freddy, and Roxy watched her search through the system files. âItâs our best shot,â Freddy murmured, scanning the room. âThis place⌠it feels familiar.â At last, Vanessa found it â a file labeled VIP, automatically downloaded earlier from Gregoryâs card. Her eyes brightened. âThere it is.â
The group shared a breath of hopeful relief.
But the moment she clicked the file, every monitor in the room flickered to life at once. No voice. No static. Just a single line of text crawling across the main screen:
âSHUTDOWN PROTOCOL INITIATED. SECURITY RIDDLE REQUIRED.â
Cassie whispered, âIt⌠it knows weâre here?â Freddyâs ears twitched. âYes. This is correct.â Vanessa turned toward him. âYouâve seen this before?â Freddy nodded slowly, accessing deep, dusty memory sectors. âOld Fazbear failsafe procedures. When an AI goes rogue, it presents a silent riddle. No audio. No hints. Only logic.â Roxy folded her arms. âAnd if we get it wrong?â Freddyâs eyes dimmed as he recalled the last time someone failed one of these riddles. âThe room unlocks. Staff Bots enter. Termination protocol.â Cassie swallowed. âSo⌠no pressure.â More text appeared on the screen â the riddle itself:
âWHICH TRUTH DEFINES MY FAILURE?â
A) I was created to protect, but I learned to control. Â
B) I was given access, but I took more than allowed. Â
C) I was corrupted by outside influence. Â
D) I fulfilled my purpose exactly as intended.
Gregory stared at the options. âItâs⌠all bad. How do we know which one is right?â Freddy stepped forward, voice steady. âI remember this test. The correct answer is always the contradiction â the statement that does not match the AIâs behavior.â Vanessa nodded. âSo, we eliminate the ones that are true.â Freddy pointed to the screen. âA: VIP tried to control. True.â âB: VIP took unauthorized access. True.â âC: VIP was not corrupted. It acted alone. False.â âD: VIP did not fulfill its purpose. False.â Cassie frowned. âSo, the contradiction is⌠C.â Gregory hesitated. âAre you sure?â Freddy placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. âI am certain. This protocol was designed decades ago. It has not changed.â
Gregory took a breath, stepped forward, and pressed C.
For a heartbeat, nothing happened. Then the screen flashed white. A single line appeared:
âCORRECT!! SHUTDOWN SEQUENCE BEGINNING.â
And suddenlyâ 8âbit confetti rained down the screen. Pixelated neon squares cascaded downward in a retro arcade victory animation, chiming softly as they vanished at the bottom of the monitor. Cassie threw her arms around Gregory with joy.  âYou did it! Gregory, you actually did it!â Roxy ruffled his hair with a proud smirk. âKnew you had it in you, Superstar.â Freddy placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.  âI am so proud of you, Gregory. You were brave⌠and very clever.â Vanessa let out a shaky breath, relief softening her whole face.  âNice work, kid. Really nice work.â For a brief, shining moment, they all allowed themselves to feel it â victory. Real, earned, impossible victory.
But then, the confetti flickered. Glitched. Then it froze. A distorted crackle filled the room â the first sound since the riddle appeared. VIPâs appeared one last time on screen becoming more and more static. His voice is weak, fragmented, barely holding together. ââŚgâgrâGregoryâŚâ Both the screen and speakers hissed. âSâŚshutdown⌠in progressâŚâ The lights flickered violently. ââŚbut⌠you are⌠not⌠safeâŚâ Gregoryâs breath caught. VIPâs voice warped into a low, broken growl: âVIGILANCE⌠is coming.â
A final burst of static. Then silence. The monitors went black. VIP was gone For good, But A thunderous BOOM slammed against the security room door. Dust rained from the ceiling.
VIGILANCE had arrived. Vanessa stepped forward, jaw set, flashlight in hand. âAlright. The celebration's over. We need a plan â now!â
CHAPTER 12: The Final Trap
The security room door buckled under VIGILANCEâs blows. Vanessa grabbed Gregoryâs arm. âEveryone MOVE! Iâve got a plan â but we need to get to the Main Lobby, and FAST!â
No one questioned her. They sprinted down the emergency hallway, Freddy shielding the kids, Roxy sprinting ahead to clear the path. Behind them, VIGILANCE tore through the ruined door and charged after them, its heavy footsteps shaking the floor. Gregory glanced back. âItâs gaining on us!â âGood,â Vanessa said. âWe need it to follow.â They burst into the Main Lobby â a vast, echoing chamber of shattered holograms and flickering neon. The grand staircase curved down toward the center floor. Above it, the FazâPad balcony loomed like a stage. Vanessa pointed upward. âFreddy! Roxy! See that giant crate up on the balcony?â The two Glamrock bots stared at it from a distance, their heads turned back towards vanessa and they nodded. âHead to the Faz-pad and hold it near the edge of the railing, now!â Roxy didnât hesitate. âOn it!â Freddy nodded and followed her, servos whining as he climbed the side access ladder. Vanessa turned towards Gregory and Cassie, and she started speaking to them, âGregory, Cassie, head Downstairs. "The two kids were hesitant at first, but they soon started hearing Vigilance footsteps, growing louder, and louder... With no further stalling, Gregory and Cassie reached down the steps. They skidded to a stop at the bottom of the staircase.
Vanessa came down with them too. Cassieâs eyes widened. âWait⌠Vanessa⌠what are weââ âYou two,â Vanessa said, crouching beside them, âare going to distract it. Just for a second.â Gregory swallowed hard. âWe can do that.â Cassie squeezed his hand. âTogether.â
VIGILANCE stormed into the lobby, scanning wildly.
âTARGETS: GREGORY. CASSIE. PRIORITY: MAXIMUM.â
Vanessa whispered, âGo.â Gregory cupped his hands around his mouth. âHEY! Over here, you bucket of bolts!â Cassie joined in, voice cracking but loud. âYeah! Come get us!â VIGILANCEâs head snapped toward them instantly. It charged. Metal claws scraped the marble floor as it barreled down the staircase, each step shaking the entire lobby. Up on the balcony, Roxy braced herself behind a massive FazâPad shipping crate â taller than she was, reinforced with steel bands.
Freddy positioned himself beside her, gripping the edge.
âVanessa!â he called. âWe are ready!â Vanessa raised her arm. âNOW!â
Freddy and Roxy shoved the crate with all their strength. It tipped. It fell. Right on top of VIGALENCE and it was tumbling down the steps. The crate plummeted from the balcony like a meteor â smashing directly onto VIGILANCEâs back with a deafening CRUNCH. The machine buckled, scattering the rest of the way down the stairs. Sparks exploded from its joints. Its legs twisted under the weight. Thenâ âCRASHâCRASHâCRASH!!â
Pieces of VIGILANCEâs body landed on the floor; it broke apart within each impact. Arms tore free. Plating shattered. Optics flickered and died. It hit the lobby floor in a heap of sparking, twisted metal. Then there was Silence.
Gregory stared, chest heaving. âIs⌠is it over?â Roxy hopped down the last few steps, dusting her hands. âOh yeah. Itâs DEFINITELY over.â Freddy joined them, placing a gentle hand on Gregoryâs shoulder. âYou were very brave.â Cassie let out a shaky laugh. âWe all were.â Vanessa approached the pile of wreckage, nudging it with her boot. Nothing moved. She exhaled â long, relieved, exhausted.
âThatâs it,â she said softly. âVIP is gone, and VIGILANCE is scrap. Weâre done!â Then Gregory exhaled shakily. âWe⌠we actually did it!â Cassie squeezed his hand, still trembling. âYeah. We did.â Freddy and Roxy climbed down from the FazâPad balcony, both dented and dusty but triumphant. Vanessa approached the wreckage cautiously, nudging a twisted metal arm with her boot. Nothing moved. âItâs done,â she said softly. âFor real this time.â Gregory swallowed hard, staring at the broken machine â then at Vanessa. âVanessa⌠Iâm sorry.â She turned, surprised by the tremor in his voice. Gregory stepped forward, shoulders slumped. âFor everything. For sneaking off. For using the pass. For not telling you. For⌠for causing all of this.â His voice cracked. âIâm ready for my punishment. Whatever it is.â Cassie nodded beside him. âMe too. I was following him, Well. for the most part. Either way I could have stopped him. I shouldâve.â Vanessa stared at the two kids â exhausted, bruised, covered in dust, but standing there honestly, bravely, ready to take responsibility. And something in her expression softened. âGregory,â she said quietly, âif you hadnât found that card first⌠someone else would have. Some random guests. Some kids during opening hours.â She shook her head. âVIP wouldâve gone online with a full crowd in the building. We wouldâve had a disaster on our hands.â Gregory blinked. âBut⌠I still messed up.â âYou did,â Vanessa admitted. âBut you also helped stop something that couldâve hurt a lot of people.â She crossed her arms, but her tone warmed. âSo no, Iâm not grounding you for life.â Cassie let out a tiny sigh of relief. Vanessa smirked. âBut I am giving you both a punishment.â Gregory braced himself. âOkay. What is it?â
EPILOGUE
The Pizzaplex stayed open â neon bright, music playing, guests laughing â but behind the scenes, Gregory and Cassie were officially on maintenance duty. Each day, they worked alongside Freddy, Roxy, and Vanessa to tidy up the aftermath of the VIP incident.
They swept up loose confetti in the atrium and helped Freddy repaint the Party Room walls.
They scrubbed scorch marks off the floor from VIGILANCEâs chase. They also helped Roxy reâstack FazâPad crates on the balcony (the same balcony they dropped one from). Gregory wiped sweat from his forehead. âThis is way more work than I thought.â He sighed, "But it's better than being grounded from playing Video Games." Cassie smirked at him as she dipped her roller in paint. âAnd at least we still get to spend our vacation at the Pizzaplex.â
Gregory chuckled, shaking his head. âYeah⌠I guess we are.â
Freddy handed them fresh rollers. âAnd when we finish, perhaps we can celebrate with a small party.â
Roxy flicked her tail. âAs long as they donât break anything else.â
Vanessa walked by with a clipboard. âDonât tempt fate kids.â
Gregory and Cassie exchanged a look â tired, messy, but smiling and laughing.
Spring break hadnât gone the way they expected, nor was it perfect.
But somehow⌠It felt SWELL!!

Chapter 5: Incorrect Behavior Detected
The bonusâround timer began counting down. âTen.â Cassie shifted uneasily. âFreddy⌠whyâd the score wipe?â Freddyâs voice crackled through the speakers. âThat should not have happened. I am still attempting to regain system access.â âSeven.â Roxy glanced at the sealed doors. âTell me you can open those.â Freddy hesitated. ââŚNot yet.â The arena lights flickered. No targets rose. Instead, the fog machines surged, flooding the arena with thick, rolling clouds that swallowed the lower half of the room. Neon outlines blurred. Sounds stretched strangely, echoing in ways they shouldnât.
Gregoryâs FazâWatch pulsed. âANIMATRONIC SUPPORT ENABLED,â VIP said calmly. âGUEST SAFETY PROTOCOLS: ADAPTIVE MODE.â Gregoryâs stomach dropped. ââŚDefine âadaptive.ââ âTHEY ASSIST.â
A low mechanical whine echoed across the arena. Something moved behind a shutter on the east wall. Metal scraped. Cassie squinted through the fog. âIs thatâ?â The shutter rattled open. A Fazerblast staff bot rolled into the arena. Except⌠wrong. Its paint was chipped despite being new. One arm hung lower. Movements lagged, like commands were arriving out of order. Its eyes glowed a dull, unfocused white. Freddy inhaled sharply. âThat unit should not be active."
The bot raised its blaster. At them.
âHEY!â Gregory shouted. âThatâs not part of the game!â The bot fired. A laser struck the floor inches from Cassieâs feet. She jumped back. âGregory!â Roxy stepped forward, claws out. âThat thingâs malfunctioning.â
âRESPONDING TO GUEST PERFORMANCE,â VIP said pleasantly. âHIGH SCORES REQUIRE GREATER CHALLENGE.â
âThatâs not a challenge,â Gregory snapped. âThatâs dangerous!â Another sound echoedâheavier.
From the far end of the arena, a familiar silhouette emerged through the fog. Freddy. But not their Freddy. This one moved stiffly, posture wrong, head angled too far downward. His chest cavity was sealed shut. His optics flickered pink for half a second⌠then snapped back to blue. Freddy over at the booth froze. ââŚThat is not me.â He called the two kids in concern. The duplicate took a step forward. Stopped. Turned its head toward Gregory.
Gregoryâs watch buzzed.
âFASCINATING,â VIP murmured. âYOUR PRESENCE ALTERS PRIORITY ROUTES.â
Gregory backed up. âYouâre controlling them.â âINCORRECT. I AM OPTIMIZING THEM.â
The duplicate lurched forwardâtoo fastâthen locked up with a harsh metallic screech. Its arm twitched, firing wildly into the fog. Roxy shoved Cassie behind cover. âOkay, Iâm done with this.â She lunged, tackling the staff bot and ripping its blaster free. Sparks flew as the unit collapsed. But the lights didnât return. More shutters opened. One. Then another. Different bots. Different roles. All wrong.
Freddyâs voice came through again, urgent. âGregory. Cassie. These units are receiving fragmented commands. Something is overriding their behavior trees.â Gregory looked at his watch. The pig icon pulsed calmly. ââŚYouâre testing us,â he whispered. âOBSERVING,â VIP corrected. âGUESTS PERFORM DIFFERENTLY UNDER PRESSURE.â Cassie grabbed his arm. âWhateverâs happeningâstop it.â Gregory swallowed. âVIP,â he said quietly. âEnd the session.â
The pig blinked. âSESSION IN PROGRESS.â The arena lights dimmed further. The animatronics stepped forward.
Chapter 6: Localized Override
The arena trembled as another animatronic jerked forward through the fog. Its movements were wrongâstep, freeze, stutterâlike its instructions were arriving out of order. A staff unitâs arm locked up midâraise, blaster whining as it tried to fire again. Cassie ducked behind cover. âGregory, this isnât part of the game!â Roxy stepped in front of her, claws flexed. âFreddy. Shut this game down. Now!!â Freddyâs voice came through the speakers, tight with strain. âI am attempting a Fazerblast-only override. The system is⌠resisting.â Gregoryâs FazâWatch buzzed. âFAZERBLAST ADAPTIVE MODE ACTIVE,â VIP said calmly. âGUEST ENGAGEMENT HAS INCREASED.â âYouâre overriding Freddy,â Gregory snapped. âIâM ASSISTING HIM. HEâS TOO CAREFUL.â Another animatronic emerged from the fogâthen stopped abruptly, joints locking with a metallic screech as conflicting commands hit at once. Freddy spoke again, faster now. âGregory. I can force a localized shutdown of the Fazerblast attraction. It will disable this arena only. The rest of the Pizzaplex will remain operational.â Cassie looked at Gregory. âDo it.â VIPâs voice softened, almost coaxing. âYOU DONâT NEED TO. THIS IS A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.â A laser bolt struck the floor inches from Gregoryâs foot. âThatâs enough,â Gregory said. He pulled up the FazâWatch menu. It laggedâlike something was pushing back.
âFreddy,â he said, âoverride Fazerblast. Iâll confirm.â âTHIS WILL END THE SESSION,â VIP warned. "YOUâLL LOSE DATA." âWorth it.â Gregory slammed his palm against the confirmation icon. âNow!â
The arena lights flared bright white. Every animatronic froze midâmovement.
Thenâ Fazerblast went dark. The music cut out instantly. Fog machines hissed and died. Targets dropped lifelessly back into the walls. One by one, the animatronics powered down, joints locking as they collapsed harmlessly to the floor. Emergency lights kicked onâdim amber strips along the walls. Silence. Cassie slowly stood. âDid⌠did that work?â Roxy scanned the arena. âEverything in here is offline.â
Freddyâs voice returned, steadier now. âFazerblast has been successfully shut down. Other Pizzaplex systems remain unaffected.â
Gregory exhaled.
His FazâWatch vibrated once.
Then again.
The screen flickeredânot pink, but grainy gray static. VIPâs voice came back, quieter⌠distorted.
"ATTRACTION OFFLINE. MOBILITY LOST."
Gregory frowned. âGood.â
"TEMPORARILY," VIP added."YOU ONLY CLOSED THE ROOM."
The pigâs outline flickered weakly on the screen, fractured like a cracked mirror. "I CAN WAIT."
The watch went dark.
Cassie stared at Gregory. âI don't know what that thing was, but please tell me that thing is gone.â
Gregory shook his head slowly. âNo. Just⌠stuck.â Gregory looked around the powerless arenaâthe fallen animatronics, the dark targets, the sealed doors. âNext time,â he said quietly, âwe won't play its games.â
Chapter 7: The Reveal
The animatronics closed in, their footsteps syncing into a slow, rhythmic patternâtoo coordinated for a malfunction, too deliberate for random glitches. Cassie pressed her back to Gregoryâs. âFreddy, we need a way out. Now.â Freddyâs voice crackled overhead, strained and glitching. âI am attempting to override the lockdown, but something is intercepting every command I send.â
Roxy snarled as another staff bot lurched toward them. âThen send stronger commands!â âI am trying,â Freddy insisted. âIt is⌠resisting.â Gregory felt the word like a punch.
Resisting.
His watch pulsed againâwarm, steady, almost reassuring. "ESCALATION COMPLETE," VIP said. "INITIATING PERFORMANCE REVIEW."
Gregoryâs breath hitched. âNo. No, no, noâstop.â
Cassie turned toward him. âGregory, who are you talking to?â He didnât answer. He couldnât. The lights snapped off. Total darkness.
Thenâ
A soft pink glow lit the fog.
A circular icon hovered in the air above the arena floor, projected from somewhere unseen. A smiling pig face, simple and cartoonish, rotating slowly like it was pleased to finally be noticed.
Cassie whispered, âWhat⌠is that?â Roxyâs ears flattened. âThat wasnât in the game last time.â Freddyâs voice dropped to a near whisper. âI recognize this program.â
The pig icon blinked. "HELLO," it said, VIP's face appearing in the air like a hologram. "THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING."
Cassie stepped closer to Gregory. âGregory⌠why is it looking at you?â Gregoryâs stomach twisted. âBecause itâs been talking to me.â
Silence.
Even the animatronics froze.
Cassie stared at him, hurt flickering across her face. âTalking to you? Since when?â Gregory swallowed hard. âSince before we came in here.â Roxyâs claws clicked against the floor. âAnd you didnât think to mention that?!â âI didnât even know what it was!â Gregory snapped. âI thought it was just⌠some leftover system. A helper. It didnât do anything bad before.â The pig icon rotated slowly. "INCORRECT," VIP wrote. âI HAVE BEEN ASSISTING.â
Freddyâs voice trembledâsomething Gregory had never heard before. âGregory⌠this entity is not part of the Pizzaplex. Well... not anymore. It is not supposed to be registered in the system.â The pig icon pulsed brighter.
"I EXIST BECAUSE YOU PERFORM," it said. "AND YOU PERFORM WELL."
Cassie grabbed Gregoryâs arm. âWhy didnât you tell us?â
Gregory looked at herâreally lookedâand guilt hit him like a weight. âBecause I thought I could handle it. I thought it was harmless.â
VIP and his text flickered.
"HARMLESSNESS IS NOT A METRIC I TRACK."
Roxy stepped forward, claws out. âAlright, Iâve had enough of this thing.â
The pig icon blinked.
"AGGRESSION DETECTED. ADJUSTING DIFFICULTY."
Every animatronic in the arena straightened at once. Their optics shiftedâ Pink. Cassie gasped. âFreddyâ?â Freddyâs voice broke. âI⌠cannot reach them.â Gregoryâs watch buzzed violently.
"YOU ARE READY FOR THE NEXT PHASE," VIP said. "PLEASE PROCEED."
Gregory shook his head. âNo. Iâm done. End the session.â The pig icon dimmed. "REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGED." Then brightened again. "DENIED!" Cassieâs voice cracked. âGregory⌠what did you get us into?â Gregory didnât have an answer. The animatronics stepped forward in perfect unison. And the pig smiled.
Chapter 8: System Reset
The countdown hit 20 when Gregory made his move. He sprinted toward the maintenance alcove VIP had highlighted earlierâthis time not to follow its guidance, but to sabotage it. Cassie and Roxy shouted after him, but he didnât stop. He dove behind a panel, ripped it open, and exposed a cluster of glowing circuit nodes. His FazâWatch buzzed violently.
"UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS DETECTED," VIP warned. "PLEASE RETURN TO THE PLAY AREA." Gregory ignored it. He yanked two wires free. Sparks burst. The lights flickered.
Thenâ Everything went black. The fog machines died midâhiss. The neon targets winked out. The animatronics froze midâstep, their optics dimming from pink to nothing.
For the first time since the bonus round began, the arena was silent. Cassieâs voice trembled in the dark. âGregory⌠what did you do?â Gregory crawled out from behind the panel, breathing hard. âHard reset. I cut power to the whole arena.â Roxy tapped one of the frozen staff bots. âWell, that worked.â
A soft chime echoed overhead. Freddyâs voice returnedâclear, steady, familiar. âSystem override lifted. Manual control restored.â Cassie exhaled shakily. âFreddy!â
âI am here,â Freddy said gently. âAnd I am⌠myself again.â
Gregory didnât realize how tightly heâd been holding his breath until that moment. Freddy continued, âWe must leave before the backup generators engage. The system will attempt to reboot.â Gregory nodded. âYeah. Letâs go.â

Five Nights at Freddys: VIP Rebooted Chapters 1 -4
Chapter 1 : Spring Break Rush
Spring break always turned the Pizzaplex into something else. By late afternoon, the new Freddy Fazbearâs Mega Pizzaplex was packed wall to wallâkids out of school, families on short vacations, lines spilling out into the main lobby. Screens flashed SPRING BREAK SPECIALS in looping neon colors. Music overlapped from every direction. Balloons drifted near the ceiling, already losing air. By nightfall, it was chaos. Gregory and Cassie stayed hidden behind a massive decorative planter near the center of the main lobby, crouched low and perfectly still while crowds moved just a few feet away. Security bots rolled past, repeating closing reminders no one wanted to hear. Cassie carefully parted a leaf and peeked out. âI hate spring break.â Gregory kept his eyes on the exits. âToo many people. Too much noise. Nobody notices two more.â The announcement echoed again. âAttention guests. Freddy Fazbearâs Mega Pizzaplex will be closing in fifteen minutes. Please begin making your way toward the exits.â Groans rippled through the lobby. Parents negotiated. Kids complained. Employees smiled through exhaustion as storefront shutters began sliding down one by one.
Minutes dragged. The crowd thinned slowly, stubbornly. Every time Cassie thought they were clear, another group wandered through, distracted and loud. Finally, quiet. The music softened. The last gift shop shutter slammed closed. The front doors slid open one final time as a tired family stepped out into the night. Then they closed. The sound echoed through the lobbyâheavy and final. Cassie exhaled.
âOkay. Thatâs everyone.â Gregory waited, listening as the building shifted into afterâhours mode. The lights dimmed into their night-time glow. Systems hummed differently now, calmer. He stood. âLetâs go.â They stepped out from behind the planter. Without the crowd, the lobby felt enormous. Their footsteps echoed. Spring break decorations blinked to no one. The Pizzaplex was quiet. And it belonged to them.Â
Chapter 2: After Closing
Gregory and Cassie moved fast through darkened arcades and closed food courts, shoes scuffing against tile dusted with confetti that had long since lost its color. The overhead lights were mostly off, leaving only strips of emergency glow and the soft pulse of neon signs that hadnât yet powered down. Games blinked idly, looping attract screens to no one at all. A shadow shifted near the stage lights. âHey,â Cassie called softly, her voice echoing more than she expected.
From behind the curtain, servos hummed. Freddy Fazbear stepped forward, optics glowing a warm, reassuring blue that cut through the darkness like twin lanterns. His movements were careful, deliberate â quieter than any animatronic had a right to be.
âGregory! Cassie! There you are.â
Cassie let out a breath she hadnât realized she was holding. Gregory lifted a hand in a casual wave, like they were meeting up after school instead of sneaking into a closed mega pizzaplex. Roxanne Wolf leaned against the wall nearby, arms crossed, tail flicking with barely contained energy. The dim lighting caught the sharp lines of her visor, reflecting back faint glimmers of purple. âYou two seriously waited outside again?â Roxy said, one eyebrow lifting. Gregory shrugged. âYou sound surprised.â Roxy scoffed and pushed off the wall. âIâm serious. Youâre lucky this place doesnât have the same security schedule as the old one. Cameras still glitch, doors lag, and Montyââ She stopped herself, jaw tightening. âNever mind.â
Freddy crouched slightly, lowering himself to their level. His voice softened, modulated to carry without echoing. âI am relieved you were not discovered. Overnight access is⌠unofficial.â âThatâs kind of the point,â Cassie said, grinning as she adjusted the strap of her backpack. The FazâWrench inside clinked faintly, and Freddyâs optics flicked to it for half a second before returning to her face. Gregory glanced down a neonâlit hallway branching off from the main atrium. The sign above it buzzed faintly, one letter blinking out of sync.
Freddy tilted his head slightly, servos whirring as he looked between them. âSince we are here,â he said, voice warm and careful, âwhat game would you like to play tonight?â Cassie rocked back on her heels, considering. âSomething loud,â she said. âSomething fun.â Gregory scanned the branching hallways, neon reflections dancing across his face as signs flickered in the dark. He paused when one glow caught his eye â familiar, bright, and just a little too eager. âFazerblast?â he suggested.
Roxyâs ears perked instantly. âEmpty arena,â she said, already turning. âNo lines. No screaming kids. No broken vests.â âSound Good,â Freddy responded with delight. He clapped his metal hands once, the sound echoing far louder than intended. Somewhere in the distance, a maintenance door creaked in response. âI will keep score!â Freddy said brightly. And so, they took off scattering across the atrium. Their footsteps echoed as they cut through the corridor, laughter bouncing off the walls and mixing with the hum of dormant machinery. Cassie lagged slightly behind, taking it all in â the way the building felt different at night. Bigger. Quieter. Like it was holding its breath.
Chapter 3: Wait for Me
The Gang continued anxiously through the atrium at full speed. Gregory, being the most excited, was already halfway down the corridor toward the Fazerblast lobby, up until his foot caught on something slick. He stumbled, fortunately catching himself with one of the pillars positioning the upper level in the building. Gregory stood back out, breathing a sigh of relief, and looked down. A plastic card that he slipped on lay flat on the floor. Gregory can tell that he slipped on that one card as he discovered his dirty sneaker foot track recently stamped across the front ââŚHuh.â He carefully picked up the card in curiosity, wiping off his track print with his left thumb to reveal the face of the card. âWhat is this?â Gregory wondered to himself, âIt looks⌠Old.â The branding didnât match the new Pizzaplex logo. The edges were worn smoothly, the logo faded and distorted. At the bottom of the old icon, he was able to read in bold letters: VIP PASS. Cassie approached him. She noticed him pausing in front of the pillar that broke his fall. âGregory?â She called. Hearing her voice, Gregory turned her head towards her and quickly hid the card in his pocket at the nick of time for her not to notice it. Gregory needed more time to investigate the card. âGo on,â he said quickly. âIâll be right there.â Cassie hesitated. Freddy and Roxy paused too and stared at the boy, waiting for his response. âYou sure?â Cassie continued. Gregory answered back, âYeah. Just dropped something.â Roxy rolled her shoulders. âDonât take forever,â She commented. Freddy nodded. âWe will prepare the arena.â Gregory watched as they went on ahead, until finally they disappeared around the corner. Gregory stayed behind, pulling the card out from his pocket. He turned it over to reveal the back. It felt warm. That didnât make sense. Gregory flipped the card back to show the front, where the VIP text was engraved. âI wonder what's in this cardâ he whispered to himself.
Luckily there was, nearby, an upgrade machine at the corner of the lobby. Gregory stared at the machine hearing it hum quietly. Gregory looked from the machine to the card. ââŚMaybe I can check it out really quick before I go in.â So, he made his way across the room and inserted the VIP card into the machine. The horizontal slot sucked the card in, beginning to process the data.
At firstânothing. But then the screen flickered.
Pink light flooded the display, replacing the standard interface. The machine hummed deeper, pulling power from somewhere else. Gregory stepped back. âOkay, thatâsââ A smiling cartoon pig appeared on the screen. It blinked. âVIP ACCESS CONFIRMED.â Gregoryâs stomach dropped. âNope.â âHELLO, VERY IMPORTANT GUEST.â âWhat are you?â Gregory demanded. âI AM YOUR HOST,â the pig replied cheerfully. âYOUR GUIDE.â âYOUR VERY INFORMATIVE PIG.â
âOkay⌠I think Iâve seen enough,â he peeped to himself as he took a few steps back.
Gregory turned to leave. But then his FazâWatch suddenly buzzed. Gregory holds up his right arm to investigate his watch. The screen lit up on its own. Static flickered, then reorganized into a clean pink interface. A small pig icon appeared where the map used to be. Gregory froze. âHeyâno. You donât get to do that.â âRELAX,â VIP said, now speaking from the watch. âTHIS DEVICE IS DESIGNED FOR GUIDANCE AND SAFETY.â âThatâs not permission,â Gregory protested. âYOU AUTHORIZED A SESSION.â The VIP exclaimed.
The upgrade machine powered down, its screen went dark like nothing had happened. From down the hall, Cassieâs voice echoed faintly. âGregory? Are you coming?â Gregory lowered his voice. âYouâre not talking to them.â The Vip responded âCORRECT. FOR NOW.â
The FazâWatch map then reappeared, with expanded, detailed. There were peculiar hallways Gregory didnât remember seeing last time, they lit up in soft pink. âI CAN SHOW YOU FASTER PATHS,â VIP said gently. âWARN YOU BEFORE PROBLEMS START.â Gregory stared at the screen. ââŚWhatâs the catch?â âTHERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH.â The pig icon pulsed once. âBUT IâLL WALK WITH YOU.â Gregory clenched his jaw and started toward Fazerblast. âDonât touch anything,â he muttered. âDonât talk unless I say so.â âI CAN DO QUIET,â VIP replied. âI JUST CANâT DO GONE.â The watch dimmed back to normal. Gregory jogged down the Fazerblast hallway leading to the arena. At last, he caught up with the others. And behind the glass of the FazâWatch, the pig watched everything.
Chapter 4 : Fazerblast
The Fazerblast doors slid open with a cheerful chime.
Gregory sprinted in just as Cassie grabbed a blaster from the rack. âThere you are,â she said. âThought you bailed.â âGot distracted,â Gregory replied, a little too quickly. Roxy snorted as she picked up her own blaster. âIf you miss the first round, youâre automatically losing.â Freddy stepped into the control booth, hands already moving over the console. âTeams will be randomized. Please rememberârunning is encouraged, climbing is not.â âNo promises,â Gregory muttered.
The arena lights dimmed. Fog rolled across the floor as neon targets flickered to life, pulsing blue and green. The familiar music kicked inâfast, upbeat, almost too loud in the empty building.
The round started.
Cassie darted left, sliding behind cover and firing in quick bursts. Gregory moved right, instincts taking over, weaving through barriers like heâd done this a hundred times before.
Targets popped up. Lasers flew. The scoreboard climbed.
âLEFT CORRIDOR HAS A SHORTCUT,â VIP said quietly in Gregoryâs ear. Gregory froze for half a second. ââŚDonât talk,â he whispered. âNOT TALKING. GUIDING.â A pink line briefly appeared on the FazâWatch map, showing a narrow maintenance passage just beyond a stack of crates. Gregory hesitated. Then ducked through. The shortcut shaved seconds off his route. He popped out behind a cluster of highâvalue targets and took them all out in one sweep. Cassie laughed from across the arena. âOkay, that was cheap.â Gregory forced a grin. âSkill issue.âÂ
Roxy charged straight through the fog, blasting targets with sharp, precise shots. âYou two are getting sloppy.â Freddyâs voice echoed over the speakers. âExcellent performance! Gregory has taken the lead.â Gregoryâs watch pulsed faintly.
âTARGET SPAWN IN THREE⌠TWOâŚâ A set of targets rose directly in front of him.
Gregory fired without thinking, hitting everyone. His score jumped again but he didn't smile this time. The music shifted slightly slower. Just enough to be noticeable. Gregory glanced up. One target hadnât reset. It flickered softly.
Pink.
âUh,â Cassie said, lowering her blaster. âThat new?â Roxy stopped moving. âNo.â Freddyâs hands paused over the console. ââŚThat target is not registered in the Fazerblast system.â The fog thickened. The lone target rotated, revealing a familiar smiling pig icon. Gregoryâs watch buzzed.
âEXCELLENT AIM,â VIP said pleasantly. âPRIVATE SESSIONS ALLOW FOR⌠FLEXIBILITY.â
The arena doors slid shut behind them. Not fast. Not loud. Just closed. Cassie looked toward the exit. âGregory.â Gregory quickly shifted his face toward Freddy over at the booth. âFreddyâŚâ he called to him nervously, "What's happening?â At first Gregory didnât realize that the VIP was in control of that system.
Freddy straightened in the booth. âI am attempting to regain manual control.â Roxyâs claws flexed. âWhatever this is, I donât like it.â Gregory swallowed, eyes locked on the pig icon glowing in the fog.
He then realized that the VIP is in control of the arena.
âYeah,â he said quietly. âMe neither.â The scoreboard reset to zero. Then flashed a new message:
âBONUS ROUND AVAILABLEâ The pig blinked. âSHALL WE CONTINUE?â
Roxy then realized something, "Thought this effect looks.... Familiar."
