When The Lilacs Are In Bloom 2026
I had a whole post drafted and for whatever reason it didn't say so here I go again.
Anyway, I almost finished it on time and then stuff happened and I also got sick. So yeah. Late again. Random fact: you can't really see it all that well, but it's an edited photo of the lilacs growing next to my home.
So, the necklace. It is the main point of this drawing, and if you are familiar with my works, the same necklace appears in a lot of them (especially the ones including Kai). In real life it is a locket I have owned since I was like 10. The first necklace has a piece of paper with Kai's name written on it. I wore it so much during elementary school, then in middle school, then for some time in high school, that it is pretty worn now, so I keep the original in a small box on my Beyblade shelf. I managed to buy another, identical one, and I wear it to all beyblade tournaments that I attend. But the original one is safely stored.
The necklace (or the locket?) used to have a pretty extensive lore I sadly don't remember anymore (because it's been like 20 years since then). What I do remember is that the kid me originally imagined getting it as a gift from Kai. The theme reoccurs in a lot of my self-inserts actually.
Idk why I'm talking about it. I just wanted to share? Anyway, that locket is my most important possession.
