a lot of it is stuff i was into as a kid, like being on the computer. this tumblr blog as a whole is part of the process if that makes sense. at least until i finally commit to making a website.

honestly, it's older things in general. love magazines/print media a lot. covers/advertisements/editorials all of it.

more traditionally; music (for both edits and drawings) and movies (been really into late 60s/70s hk martial arts films lately). since i can't write/make comics, creating stuff as a faux screenplay/screenshot helps gets the more sequential ideas out.

symbolist paintings. the apparition has always been one of my favorites, and i tried to replicate it as close as made sense here.
