Find Jay R behind the booth of Art House Gallery Bar in Thessaloniki doing the #fuzesessions nights residency!

Fuze Sessions start tonight(7/10) after 22:00 and mister Eddie C will be there to welcome the “night” !!

Dave Gerrard strikes back with a brand new 3-track EP. This is the Mango Beats including the magnificent “Generation 5″, “Repeat the Funk” & “You Got The Stuff”.

Generation 5 turned out to be my all day soundtrack. Made up from Ernie Hines “Our Generation” and Jackson 5′s “Dancing Machine” Generation 5 is a perfect new style summer groove, something between hip hop and soul edit.

In the meantime, he jams properly the Rapper’s Delight soul funk classic on “Repeat the Funk” and completes the story with a slo-mo boogie disco track, edit of Bill Withers, called “You Got The Stuff”.

All these happen on Dj Butcher’s Chopshop!

Baba Au Rum located in Athens ,one of the best bars in the world , comes for a week in Thessaloniki. 

With its huge collection of rum and unique cocktails combined with exotic street food calls for fun and socializing.

Music is an important element of special nights out and WEPlayDisco project always delivers the goods.

Supercuts vol.7 (FKR Records)

FKR seems to be the label where ‘all-time diamond’ songs pass by to get dressed in their modern suits. This is the Supercuts vol.7 with 2 tracks from KS French a.k.a. the boss and 2 from his close partner Mr Given Raw - usual suspects of the Super Cuts collection. It came out at April’s fool day while the vol.6 is still at the top 5 of Junodownload.

I ‘held’ it in my ears about some days ago and immidiately distinguished the sexy-bass-twang brandishing “Deeper Love” as the new favourite slo-mo for my sets.  Ks’ uplifting boogie "Don't' Stop" completes the duet of tracks in the album. In the meantime, “Mr Given keeps with the lady-dance theme on the Philly Soul stomper "Ready For Me" before the meandering, snake hipped "Dance With Me" wraps up the whole show nicely.” as stated at the Junodownload official review.

Urania bar tends to be a usual ‘crime’ scene for the WEPlayDisco residents. 

Just a week after their ‘dancy’ set at the neighbour Sofia, Renos & Jay R strike back to the beloved Urania’s soundsystem for a groovy dj set! At the renowned area of Valaoritou in Thessaloniki, WEPlayDisco will take over the dj booth on Saturday 2nd of April for a night full of high quality tunes.

It’s been one and a half year since WEPlayDisco made its first steps into the music world. It all started in Thessaloniki at the summer of 2014 and has to do with a wide range of the "tribe” called music. WEPlayDisco is a project, is an event, is a booking team but, also, is about music making and dj sets. Dj sets where you can dance and people may get crazy in cases, while there are times that you may feel you are listening to the presentation of a new music kind... This is what Renos and George -the founders- think and act like when the talking goes to the “wide range” meaning.

This weekend (25-27 March) they are visiting the neighbour country Bulgaria and beloved city Sofia to present their concept of music, party hard and widen their minds!

 SUNDRE BERG - Berget EP (Hot Digits Music)

    I was fortunate enough to have a promo of Sundre Berg’s 1st release Berget EP. Berget is a bomb four track EP with “deep” stuff. Sundre Berg has the talent to maintain that deep/ disco and balearic sound, of the glorious Northern Europe producers,  at its fresh version! Berget EP is released on Fingerman’s Hot Digits Music 14 March 2016. An exotic Fingerman remix of the magic “How Could Men Be So Blind” is also included. Recommended!

     Sundre Berg  is a side project of the Oslo based, disco & house producer B.G. Baarregaard born in Reykjavik, Iceland. He has accomplished many a milestone in his short, meteoric, rise to modern disco fame. His productions are championed by the likes of Harvey, Dimitri from Paris, Greg Wilson and Sleazy McQueen and released by labels such as Whiskey Disco, Paper Recordings, Editorial Records and now Hot Digits Music, routinely topping sales charts the world over. As a DJ, he's a regular fixture amongst European hotspots from Bergen to Oslo to his hometown, Reykjavik as well as numerous other locales.

      Hot Digits Music is a label based in Brighton UK for leading Funky, Good-time music.

 Summertime in Greece is so hot…like Dave Gerrard’s productions ! We’ve been playing his tracks in every set of the WEPlayDisco project and thought it was time to have him joining us for two special events !

 Dave Gerrard has releases in the most influential labels like Chopshop , Get Down Edits , DiscoDat , Sound Exhibitions , Masterworks Music , Hot Digits Music and likes boogie and 80’s sounds.

  Saturday 29th August 2015 found us all together at Maori Beach Bar in Chalkidiki enjoying the sea and the sun daytime, having lots of gin & tonic and grooving to Dave’s set nightime.

 Thursday 3th September he funked up the centre of Thessaloniki playing a gorgeous set at The Bar.

 The first birthday is always a great moment in life so the party for it has to be also great…! 

 Dario Piana is a living legend in Italy with impact all over the world . Producer & DJ , certified trainer of Ableton Live and Apple Logic has released tracks on major labels of the nu disco scene like Editorial , Hot Digits Music , Deep Sense and also owner of Bluenoises label. 

 It was an obvious choice to be our guest on October 18th 2015 at The Bar , Thessaloniki for our 1st birthday party. 

This was a night to remember , lots of friends and supporters of our WEPlayDisco project showed up and dance their hearts out under the brilliant tunes of Dario !

Thirty Sundays episode XVI hosted Renos Paraskakis and George Jay R Arampatzis to present the WEPlayDisco project to the Bord De L”Eau crowd !

Thirty Sundays is an event series that gave Skg the reason for a qualitative Sunday evening gathering emphasizing on original Djs and artists.

Presenting the modern version of black music, George and Renos gave some balearic and nudisco tunes to the people of Bord De L”Eau yesterday.

Renos Paraskakis and George “Jay R” Arampatzis strike back to Art House bar for a 2016 opening event! The WEPlayDisco resident djs head for a saturday night set, to the place where the project made its first steps.

Jay R a.k.a. George Arampatzis is one half of the duo team WEPlayDisco

Started djing at the year 2005 at Mango beach bar and continued his career with residencies and guest visits at several bars and clubs.

Most known residencies at Estorial classic bar back at 2007, Bungalow White club restaurant, Favela and Apallou. His guest visits include venues such as Zenit, Haven, Art House gallery bar, Molos, Maison, Monroe, The Bar and The Vibes.

Participated as a dj and founding member of the remarkable 3-day festival Retro Beats along with Mahfoud, Rainfall, Headshell, Panama Cardoon and local djs at 2014 summer. Also hosted Retro Beats "Santa Hionia" private gig at ApoDec during the winter and Retro Beats "Beach Please" summer sequel at Maori beach bar.

Renos Paraskakis is co-founder and manager at WEPlayDisco since the beginning in 2014.

He started DJing back in 1985 in the legendary disco club Regine in Thessaloniki.

Moving on to bars he was a resident , amongst others, at Grammophono Bar , LA Bar , Bel Air and Alcohol Bar and also organised and promoted parties on the Greek Islands in places like the Hippodrome Club in Corfu , the Face Bar in Sifnos and Gatelouzoi Club in Lesvos.

Co-owner of the legendary beach club Akrotiri in Chalkidiki and Friday Bar in Thessaloniki .

Mostly known for co-owning the eclectic dance bar Soda , in the center of Thessaloniki from 1997-2000 and promoting Club Q in Mylos,Thessaloniki having booked Bonobo and Funk D'Void for their first appearances in Greece.

Was one of the first DJs in Greece to explore and welcome cosmic disco , balearic and disco edits ,with sets in bars Isalos , Jazzanova , Haven , Elvis , The Real Rock n Rolla , Treehous , Zucca , Cantina Tropicana & more…!

WEPlayDisco presents Ramsey Hercules at La Doze bar of Thessaloniki at Thursday 19/11.

Bulgarian soul and disco editor Ramsey Hercules is moving to Thessaloniki for WEPlayDisco during his small Greek tour. The owner of Stereopor Records and Boogie.fm is heading to our city for the second time and is bringing his 45′ vinyls and his saxophone for live dopes during his set.

The music will be Disco , Boogie and Slo mo Edits !
