WE MEET UP

We heard this Kendrick collaborator on an episode of Dear White People (Netflix). A really good song this. 

They’re back with that retro, stringy, funky, motowny sound of theirs. We loved them when we heard Since I Left You all those years ago and we’re still loving them now. 

This caught my attention at a bar when I recognised the beat as XXYXX’s but it was then overlaid with SZA’s ghostly beautiful voice and then Chance’s original flow. What a lovely something nice. 

We’ve had this song on repeat all week. If this is anything to go by this album is set to blow us away. He keeps one-upping himself. 

One of those ironic title because you won’t be able to listen to this without moving. That guitar is just a lovely something nice. 

What a lovely something nice. A dope remix of a delicious Badu original to open open up your ears again. 

It’s been a long time. We shouldn’t have left you without a dope beat to step to. This is one of the most exciting intro’s we’ve heard to a song since we first heard Hendrix’s Little Bird or Blakes Retrograde. Enjoy this vocal sweets. 

This ulbum is the a sweet collaboration between Donnie Trumpet and his friends who include Chance The Rapper, Busta Rhymes and J-Cole . You know you can’t go wrong with Jazz-based hip-hop. 

This beat is timeless. Just enjoy. 

Mellow raggae vibrations from Hollie Cooks second and self titled album. A great one for the chillers and those looking to just vibe. The whole album is worth a listen. 

Feist's album Metals is the closest thing to perfection that we know so remixing any of the tracks on the album and doing them justice is a huge task. Not for Beck. This remix does all the right things at exactly the right time. 

This husky voiced rocker girl is beyond talented. Her melodies are reminiscent of the days when rock still head it's head up high. We love her. 

We discovered these wonderful people on a GvsB mix that's been hidden in our iTunes. Immediately we knew we'd heard this before. We had. The opening melody was sampled by Dr Dre on Kendrick's M.A.A.D City Album on a track called The Recipe. Enjoy.

This track will pull you right out of any slump. A feel good track to help us look forward to another great weekend.
