Break the seal off that booze by’s, it’s Tib’s Eve!

“Cosmic Highway” The Milky Way over the mountains of Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland. You can see what I believe is a pair of satellites cruising down the great rift, then dark part of the Milky Way. The road was lit with the lights of my SUV. I should have used my big flash light to light the trees on the left, but I didn’t think of it at the time. This was my first night in Newfoundland, and I was happy to find out how dark it was at night, at least in the Gros Morne area. I figured I would do lots of night photography while I was here, but it didn’t work out that way. Sleeping in my car didn’t allow me to keep my night owl scheduled, because the heat of the morning sun always woke me up fairly early. I also did tons of hiking during the day, which wore me out, so most nights I could hardly keep my eyes open by the time it was dark enough to shoot the stars.
