At first the girl's lips curved into a smile to see Bolin, but seeing the look on his face --- and the question he asked she shied back, nervous laugh and forced smile replacing the easy one she had previously.

"Ahh, what?! That ain’t far, we haven’t even had a damn flake of the stuff yet!” Tex muttered petulantly, jealousy bold and unhidden - he adored snow. It was always fun to have fights and build snowmen with Rapunzel and watch the dogs roll around in it. “Yeah, you and me both, Red. Christmas is awesome.”

When she mentioned the length of her dress, Mako couldn’t help but look down at it. Which was a bad idea on his part. He had a nice view of hips, waist, and legs now that he hadn’t gotten when she first entered the room. The blush that had wanted to dust his cheeks earlier came back and he was again fought it off. Yes she could have picked a different dress- a dress that didn’t make him think like this. If she was going for the sex appeal approach to these job interviews then he would have to say she nailed it. She wouldn’t be unemployed for long and he hoped that was all that happened as he didn’t want anything bad to happen to the red head.

“Oh fer Spirit's sake make yer mind up!” The princess growled as she moved her hands to her hair and dug the fingers into the thick curls. This was just as bad as being back home in the Earth Kingdom. All she wanted was to do well, get a job – pay him flipping back to get him off of her case – and just live. Merida honestly didn't care if she was never treated like a princess again. Honestly, being a princess sucked with the way that her mother treated her. Sure, she supposed Queen Elinor loved her. They had been through a lot together. Heck, the things they went through were things that would change any family bond. She just didn't expect that things would change a second time and that Elinor would be so forceful with getting Merida married off. She didn't want to be Queen! There was nothing she wanted less. The idea of ruiling a Kingdom had her stressed out. That should have been a job for one of the triplets; (whichever one was oldest, she just didn't have a clue. Her mother wouldn't tell her, she wasn't there when they were born, and the boys never spoke... she would have supposed Harris for he was the one that was their little 'leader' but who knew.)

He wasn’t one for shopping. The only store of shopping he did was food shopping really. When it came to clothes shopping he tried to stretch his dollar as much as possible. It mattered very little to Mako if he and Bo were wearing the latest trends. All that mattered was his brother had something to wear and wouldn’t have to worry about getting a new set until he ripped his current ones bad enough that Mako couldn’t repair them. He wanted to say that it was just a girl thing that made Merida come up with that excuse but he knew she was right. Just because he admitted that she was right didn’t make what she did any better.

He was really pushing it – like, really pushing it – and it wouldn't be long before the princess snapped. She groaned, throwing her head back and tried her best to reign in her feelings. Furrowing her brow she straightened her stance and raised a ginger brow. Really? Really, he was going to act like this? As if she really wanted to borrow his money. He had given that money to her to get a job, and she had used it to get the dress so that she could attend job interviews. Didn't that count as getting a job? Ugh, who cares.

If she thought he was mad right then she really hadn’t seen him mad. His temper could be far worse when pushed in the direction but he had control over it right then. The matter hand wasn’t exactly that big or so Mako kept on telling himself to keep his temper down. She could have bought something worse and therefore spent more of his money. She hopefully only spent one match worth of winnings when she bought the dress. If that was the case then he just needed to make sure they won the next one to earn it back.

He wasn't going to let this drop was he? Just as he wasn't going to let it drop that she had all that money to pay him back. Well, sorry to tell you this Fire Boy but to pay you back, she needed to get a job – and she wasn't going to get that job with the way she was dressed before.

Like every other time he ignore her when she told him to stop calling her princess. The nickname just seemed to stick with the way she acted and knowing that it annoyed her a little when he called her that made him want to use it more. But that wasn’t the problem right then. Mako was more concerned with finding out if she used his own hard earned yuans to buy that new dress of hers. Even if it looked good on her, he was still a little pissed off about it. The least she could have done was ask. Yes he might have added it onto her debt but he wouldn’t have added the whole amount.

“Ah can see yer mad,” She rolled her eyes whilst crossing her arms over her chest. The last thing that Merida had wanted was to rile up Mako more than she thought she would have. She thought that she had made the right decision! What else was she supposed to do?

"Hardly, I would have kept more but when I was younger my father kept a limit on how many I could have. We had the money and room to keep a fairly large aviary, but I was young and still learning." Alistair stopped himself from talking. It had happened a few times that when someone brought up the word falcon he would tell them that he had pet falcons in his younger years, or even state knowledge about them. 

“My father used them to help him with his hunting.” She wouldn't know if she would have called such a thing as keeping the falcons as pets though. Either way, they were very well taken care of – the ones that didn't fly away when Merida was trying to feed them and instruct them to do things, that was! The only pets she would have said that they would have had would have been the hunting dogs – and then the royal horses. “Nice tae meet ye Alistair.” She replied with a nod of her head. “Dae ye come fae aroond here?” She looked around unsure if she had ever come across this part of the woods before, there could have been a village either way that she hadn't visited before now.
