"There’s so many great designers. I’m a little bit of a vintage junkie when it comes to going out. I like to get unique pieces that you won’t see everyone wearing, but at the same time I don’t like to break the bank. I like to find great vintage pieces you can hold onto for a long time."
Good Boy II Declan & Wellesley
Declan’s hand hurt quite a bit, and he was grouchy about the whole thing. However, he was trying to keep under control due to not wanting to have to scare Nevaeh like that again. So he let out a sigh and counted to ten before asking the nurse once again as nice as he possibly could, “Could I please have something for my hand? It fuck- it hurts tremendously.”
"Could you say it without a curse word?"
Declan ground his teeth together as his other hand balled up in a fist as his vision started to go red. “Could I please have something for my hand?”
"Good boy."
As she walked away, Declan spit in her direction and mumbled, “Bitch.”
So she may have shouted at the nurse this morning and threatened to burn her hair off, it was incredible how scared of the patients some of the staff seemed to be. But 6am was an ungodly hour for someone who really had nothing to do all day. And Wellesley wasn't in the mood to be disturbed this morning when the nurse tried to take her vitals. But her outburst had led to another nurse walking into her room after lunch and demanding the patient go to the infirmary with her to check her vitals.
Wellesley had just finished and was heading out when she heard the nurse from this morning asking someone something in a stern voice, curious the girl peaked to see who it was. "What'd you do to your hand?" she inquired after the nurse had walked away. She tried to remember if she'd gotten the guy who's journal she had burned's name but nothing was coming to mind.
Didn't Get Caught || Wellesley + Johnny
"It’s a date then," Johnny said with a laugh. "Though it might be a boring date hanging out with a bunch of losers as we all play video games." The doctor shrugged, "Now that I think about it, I kind of wish this club existed…I might just have to start it up." "Deal," Johnny said as she opened the door and following her inside the arcade room. "Yeah, Taylor Swift is kind of loosing her popularity these days. I don’t know about you, but I was completely heartbroken when she moved from Country Music to Pop." It took a few minutes for the smell to register, but as Johnny took a few more steps into the room he frowned. "Ah man," the doctor frowned. "Smoke. Did he smell like this when you were in here?"
"That doesn't sound boring at all," Wellesley shook her head, "I get very competitive." the girl warned teasingly. "Do it, I'll be vice president, I am super duper fantastic at planning things and forcing people to show up and then everything planned is perfect so obviously they have fun. The struggle is just getting people there." Her days on the high school event committee were long in the past but she'd still picked up a few skills including the proper amount of intimidation to make someone show up somewhere.
The girl gasped over-exaggeratedly and quickly turned around to give John a big hug before holding onto his shoulders and looking up at him with a very serious expression as she spoke leaving noticeable pauses between each word, "I..love..you..for..saying..that." she let go of him and turned away as she walked a little further into the arcade, ignoring his next question at first as if maybe he'd forget it if she kept talking. "I loved her country music, like yeah all she sang about is boys but whatever it was good music. And she didn't even only sing about boy, I'm Only Me When I'm With You was never about boys, you could pretend it was but it was clearly about her friends same with Long Live. Her last CD had some fine lyrics like whatever but the music was complete crap and ruined it completely." The girl huffed as if she were arguing that something as serious as slavery were wrong to someone who didn't understand. "I..I don't remember." she shrugged, sniffing the air as if she couldn't clearly notice the scent. Lie, Wellesley, just lie, she told herself, hoping John couldn't tell. "Actually, yeah maybe, I figured it was just coming from a fireplace somewhere."

Didn't Get Caught || Wellesley + Romeo
"I kinda doubt that. I don’t think the facility would be happy with the lighter you got with you," he said with a shrug. If she wanted to get in trouble that was her thing. He thought people here liked to keep out of it.
Taking a couple steps towards the arcade he saw the fire and raised his brows, “Didn’t even put the fires out. There’s only a couple pyros so I don’t think it’d be hard for them to pick you out of the crowd.”
There weren’t many. If he remembered there were only three pryos. If this girl has been known to do it before they’d figure her out in a heartbeat. She didn’t seem the smartest by leaving the fires lit like that. Obviously didn’t care if she got in trouble or not.
"What? Do you have xray vision? There's no way you'd know whether I have a lighter or not." Wellesley snapped quickly turning back around to face the boy. She fisted her hands as she tried to stay calm as she watched him step towards the arcade and open the door to look in.
She rolled her eyes and shook her head as she crossed her arms over her chest. "What the fuck is your problem?" she asked through her teeth. "And how the hell would you know that? Breaking into files? Because I'm pretty sure that's right up there breaking the law with starting fires." Wellesley flashed him a sarcastic smile.
The blonde looked the kid up and down before taking a few steps towards, "Why don't you do me a favor, and fuck off before it's your room set on fire with you in it and the door jammed shut." She didn't know his name, but a quick glance to his wristband told her he was a level-one, couldn't be too hard to find his room without that info. "Believe me, it's been a good long while since I've killed someone and God does the itch get so strong sometimes." she lowered her voice and growled as she stepped closer, glaring at him.

Johnny laughed, imagining the young blonde attempting to throw a controller at a TV to stop fake zombies. “Nah, I promise you’re not. There’s a entire group of us. We meet every other Friday and talk about the good ol’ days where you had to have zero skill to play a video game. You more than welcomed to join, though I’m pretty sure you’re gonna be the only good looking girl there.” "Yeah, I think Taylor would work. You could pass as a Taylor. To be honest, I don’t think there’s a single person on the planet that looks like a ‘Wellesley’. Taylor is one of those simple names that no one thinks twice about. Kind of like John." The doctor let out another laugh. "So what do you say Taylor, you think Space Invaders has cooled down enough for me to issue a challenge?"
She laughed softly and looked down at the compliment before looking back up at John. "Every other Friday, huh?" Wellesley bit at her bottom lip as she feigned thinking hard for a moment. "I think I could fit that into my schedule. I mean I am super busy, but I can always do my best to make some time for some fun video game talking and playing."
Cooled down, the words put her on edge for a moment, he couldn't know. No, he was just using it as a figure of speech. Wellesley looked down at the ground, the fire clearly hadn't grown, there wasn't any smoke coming out of the room and the door wasn't hot. There would be burned newspaper and ashes on the floor but maybe not enough to notice in the dimly lit arcade. "Um, yeah, but only if I can be player 1." Her confidence growing again with each word as she flashed a smirk at John before opening the door. Just be cool, she told herself, he couldn't pin anything on her. "Now that I think about it, I don't think I could do Taylor. At least not now, it just makes me think of Taylor Swift. And it doesn't help I'm blonde too. Let's still with Wells." she nodded once as she stepped into the arcade again, trying to look over towards the floor where she'd kicked the newspapers without being obvious.

Didn't Get Caught || Wellesley + Johnny
"I’d say," Johnny said with a grin as she ran a hand through her hair. "I am the worst at first person shooters," the doctor replied with a frown. "I mean, some of them aren’t too bad, but HALO and Call of Duty- yeah, I suck at those. My brothers were always good at those. I was dead within five minutes, so I gave up and watched them kick ass….I mean butt." Probably shouldn’t cuss in front of the patients, Johnny thought.
"You know, they say you should never trust a person with two first or last names." The doctor shoved his hands in the pockets of his suit pants and leaned against the wall a bit. "It sounds pretty though, and its better than something simple and boring like ‘John’"
"That one Call of Duty that had zombies or vampires..whatever, in it, yeah that was not good." Wellesley shook her head laughing after he corrected his choice of words. "My friend Andy tried to make me play that one with him one time and I got way too scared, it was pathetic, I mean now that I think of it. At the time I almost threw the controller at the tv to stop them from eating me. I've gotta say I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person horrible at those"
She let out another laugh before smirking at him, attempting to look serious and crossing her arms over her chest, "Wellesley Daniels...definitely two last names. Seems like I'm super untrustworthy." The girl tried to hold her smirk but it turned into a smile as she let out another slight laugh. "Believe me, at this point in my life I'd take boring and simple over what I've got any day." You don't even know. "What's a good boring girl's name? Anna? or Emily. Maybe Taylor. That way I could be a boy or a girl and no one would know just looking at my name. Could I look like a Taylor?" She tilted her head as she asked for the doctor's opinion with a smile.
Laundry Day II Fay & Wellesley
Fay smiled and nodded as he listened to her talk. “You don’t have to be a lower level to have fun, you’ve just got to know when to make your move and how to avoid detection.” He raised his eyebrows and shook his head. “Pranks on roommates doesn’t really sound very much like fun. What’s the point?” He wrinkled his nose and put his hand to his chin, trying to think of something else that would soothe his urges, even just for a little while. “I could show you how to have some real fun.”
"I must not be as clever as you," Wellesley shrugged as Fay spoke. "I think it could be fun, I don't know, I always sort of wish I had a little brother or sister to pull shit on. But maybe you're right," She watched as he though for a moment and nodded at his suggestion, "I'm down, what're you thinking, new friend?" She was really ready to do anything but sit around as she had been the past couple days, having run out of desire to explore her new home.
Didn't Get Caught || Wellesley + Johnny
"Ah, pretty and a video game player," Johnny said with a laugh. He knew the young woman was a patient, but he couldn’t help but be a little flirtatious, it was part of who he was. "Space Invaders is a pretty good game. I’m kind of a PAC-Man man myself. Kind of reminds me of myself, running around, looking for something to eat and trying to avoid ghosts." The doctor let out a laugh and shook his head.
"Yeah, sure am. Dr. John Owens," the man stuck out his hand, "It’s nice to meet you Wellesley. That’s a pretty interesting name there, I don’t believe I’ve ever heard it before."
And mentally unstable, "Oh yeah, you're looking at the full package right here." She grinned widely as she ruffled her hair a little bit before letting out a slight laugh. "Though I can't say I'm any good at those shooting, Call of Duty type games that guys tend to be into. I get really anxious with everything going on." She began talking with her hands a little, moving them about as if it explained the chaos she couldn't handle in those war games. "PAC-Man is a good choice, and yeah, totally sounds fitting." Wellesley agreed with another laugh.
She'd almost forgotten what she was hiding and almost stepped away from the door before stopping herself, please have died out, please, she silently begged, hoping the game she'd kicked the burning piece of paper towards was relatively undamaged before the thin paper burned up. "Nice to meet you," the blonde smiled as she shook his hand before shrugging. "Fun story it's some stupid last name that isn't even a first name and means something crazy like 'the farm amongst the willows'. At least it doesn't sound that nuts."

Disappear II Esmeralda & Wellesley
“I don’t know. I don’t know how the laws work, and I fired my lawyer about a month ago. I’m sure his call was one of those near three hundred calls, but I can’t know now that I broke my phone.” Esmeralda admitted taking a breath as she started to feel comforted by Wellesley’s logical and calm analyzations. The young woman had felt so overwhelmed by her own emotions, and it was nice for someone to be Spock to her Kirk… or more like that nurse that likes him in the Sick Bay. Esmeralda almost snickered at her Star Trek references before sobering up as she thought about her dilemma.
“I’ll change my number after I do that exclusive I suppose.” She ran her hand down her arm contemplating how she’d tackle the situation. “I’ll ask Amelia to allow me to use one of her lawyers to help me figure out what questions not to ask me.” She sniffed for a second as she listened to Wellesley. “If I think about it maybe not all those calls were to tell me that. Maybe some of them were news teams, and maybe some of them were calls for kind reasons. I don’t know, because I didn’t pick up all that many. Though the ones I picked up, “ Esmeralda shook her head trying to forget it. “You’re right. I can’t keep running. I’ve got to nip this in the bud.” She sighed and rested her head in her hands. “I can’t wait until this is over. I don’t really want my face in the news for something like this. I thought if I ever did… again, it’d be over a break through in psychology although that never really happens to scientists.” Esmeralda laughed. “I’m sorry.”
"Lawyers are always good to have, that's one thing my grandpa taught me. Always keep one on speed dial because God knows one day you're gonna need them." Wellesley laughed and shook her head a little. "Plus I'm sure a story like this it'll be easy to find one that will help you. You just gotta take a chill pill, child." she let out another slight laugh as she shrugged. "It can't be that hard to figure it out, I got so many stories taken offline and my name redacted from so much crap just from threatening to sue." She didn't see any harm in revealing that much, hopefully Esmeralda wouldn't ask anymore.
Wellesley stood up as Esmeralda continued to talk, though she didn't stop listening. "Yeah, good luck with it all. And yeah, don't run, running is stupid if you haven't done anything." And that was all there really was to say, Wellesley found out what she wanted to know and wasn't all that interested anymore. Esmeralda was figuring her shit out, and Wellesley believed it was the plain truth that people were far more interesting when they were falling apart than when they're whole as a fattened calf. "I'll see you around, little miss celebrity. If you ever need someone to throw some real ass reality at you again I'm sure you can find me." she flashed a grin as she gave Esmeralda a wave before looking around to figure out where she was headed next, deciding to make her way back towards the stairs to her room.
Didn't Get Caught || Wellesley + Romeo
Romeo walked around the facility, wishing he had some alcohol in his system. He had a pen in his hand to twirl around to at least have something to do with his hands other than shake. All he needed to do was twirl the pen, twirl the pen, twirl the pen and the shaking died down.
As he walked by the Arcade he saw a flash of fire but it died out soon. Seeing it happen again he had a grin on his face. It looked great but he didn’t know the girl that was amusing herself with the lighter.
Watching her walk out he asked, “You have fun in there? You might wanna let the place air out because there’s still some smoke in there.” The girl was probably smart enough to know that but he wanted her not to get in trouble. Might as well give her a hint.
She jumped slightly at the sound of another's voice, furrowing her brow for a moment as she looked at the guy who looked like a twelve year old as he spoke to her. Where did you come from? she wanted to ask, but she held her tongue and rolled her eyes. Not worth it.
After assessing the situation for a quick moment, Wellesley shrugged and began walking past the guy as she spoke, "I don't know what you're talking about." The blonde tried to act as nonchalant as she could and hoped the kid would just move on with his day.
It wasn't any of his damn business and there's no way he could know, she made sure to close the door when she went in and when she came out. Sure you could kind of smell a sour scent of burning plastic and carpet but he had to just be guessing. Hopefully he was smart enough to not venture into the room and see there wasn't just smoke still in there but a fire as well.
