this disaster aside, i genuinely loved watching max race up until that safety car, he brought the excitement and it was definitely needed (at least for me) after that monaco shitshow

if they kept him out, sure he'd have old tyres, but legit none of this nonsense would've happened, and he'd have a far better chance of keeping p3
