It’s been a while since I’ve posted up here. The weather changed, I suppose, and I started seeing you less in my mind. Other things began to pop themselves into view, propped up on the windows like tin men staring out at the blue sky, green pasture, stony well, and the chewing cattle. Clouds would pass by and I would be reminded of your smile, or the anxious look in your eye as you rushed out of sight from those who would do you no harm. You sprout up on occasion and I am left wondering how you are, if you are well, hoping you are happy, wanting you to feel free. But I do this knowing you are likely not thinking of me, rather the ones you fear are judging your every effort to make a mark on the hard ground on which your feet are planted. If only you’d keep in touch, I’d remind you to be true to yourself, to be friends with your mind, and take life more at face instead of worrying your darkest depths have risen high. Your life is tidal from what I can see, I hope the moon treats you kindly - please, make peace with yourself.

Had a weird moment with Tinder today. Matched with a girl whose profile was very minimalist, and only had three grainy-looking pics plus a snapchat username. I assumed it was a fake account. But I didn’t get the usual spam you get from a fake account. Instead, she just said “want head?”. I didn’t reply because damn that’s an unusual opening line and I wasn’t sure I was down for that so quickly. So I left it and had a nap. I spent much of the day debating how I should respond, it threw me off-guard (and this is the first match I’ve had in a while). Seems like I took too long to get back to her and she blocked me. Unless it was a fake account that got reported - that could also be the case. It was so bizarre. Tbh I wish I could question her about it now but oh well, I can no longer contact her account.
